Newsweek: В результате утечки в США хакеры получили доступ к данным более 3 млн. человек

Утечка данных в американской компании, занимающейся проверкой сотрудников, привела к утечке личной информации более 3,3 миллиона человек, сообщает Newsweek.

Компания DISA Global Solutions, занимающаяся проверкой биографических данных и тестированием на наркотики для крупнейших компаний США, заявила, что стала жертвой «киберинцидента», в результате которого хакеры получили доступ к частной информации, включая номера социального страхования, кредитных карт и правительственных удостоверений личности, более чем 3 миллионов человек.

Список клиентов DISA включает треть компаний, входящих в список Fortune 500.

Утечка представляет собой серьезную брешь в кибербезопасности для особенно чувствительной отрасли, пишет СМИ.

В понедельник DISA подала заявление генеральному прокурору американского штата Мэн о том, что атаку, произошедшую 9 февраля 2024 года, не замечали в течение двух месяцев, и в компании «не смогли окончательно определить, какие именно данные были получены».

В заявлении подтверждается, что в результате атаки пострадали 3 332 750 человек и что были предложены услуги по защите от кражи личных данных.

На сайте DISA говорится, что компания предлагает девять различных решений по проверке и соблюдению нормативных требований, начиная от тестирования на наркотики и алкоголь и заканчивая медицинскими тестами, такими как медицинские осмотры и медосмотры.
