Նյու Դելիում արգելվել է հին մեքենաների լիցքավորումը

Հնդկաստանի մայրաքաղաքում աղտոտվածության վտանգավոր մակարդակը նվազեցնելու միջոցառումների շրջանակում Նյու Դելիում շուտով կարգելվի 15 տարուց ավելի հին մեքենաների լիցքավորումը, հայտնում է AFP-ն՝ վկայակոչելով տեղական իշխանություններին։
Նյու Դելին կանոնավոր կերպով դասվում է որպես աշխարհի ամենաաղտոտված քաղաքներից մեկը և ամեն տարի պատված է սուր մշուշով: Աղտոտվածությունը հիմնականում պայմանավորված է մոտակա ֆերմերների կողմից իրականացվող գյուղատնտեսական աշխատանքներով` իրենց արտերը հերկելու համար մաքրելու նպատակով, ինչպես նաև գործարանների և մեքենաների արտանետումների պատճառով:
Ցուրտ ջերմաստիճանը և թույլ քամիները վատթարացնում են իրավիճակը՝ ամեն ձմեռ ընկնելով մահացու աղտոտիչների թակարդում:
Դելիի ճանապարհներին արգելված է երթևեկել 10 և 15 տարեկանից բարձր դիզելային և բենզինային մեքենաներին, սակայն դրանցից շատերը խախտում են կանոնները:
Դելիի շրջակա միջավայրի նախարար Մանջինդեր Սինգհ Սիրսան շաբաթ օրը լրագրողներին ասաց, որ հին մեքենաները վառելիքով լցնելը դադարեցնելու մասին որոշումն ընդունվել է օդի աղտոտվածության «մարաթոնյան հանդիպման» ժամանակ՝ պարզելու հիվանդությունների պատճառները և դրանց դեմ պայքարի ուղիները:
«Մենք որոշել ենք դադարեցնել վառելիքի մատակարարումը 15 տարուց ավելի հին մեքենաներին 2025 թվականի մարտի 31-ից հետո»,- ասաց նա։
Նախարարի խոսքով՝ լցակայաններում կտեղադրվեն գաջեթներ՝ նման մեքենաները նույնականացնելու համար։
Սիրսան ասաց, որ այլ լուծումներ ներառում էին ամայի հողերը «նոր անտառների» վերածելը և համալսարանի ուսանողներին ծառատունկի մեջ ներգրավելը:
Նա նաև ասաց, որ կառավարությունը բարձրահարկ շենքերի, հյուրանոցների և Դելիի օդանավակայանի համար պարտադիր կդարձնի մառախուղային հրացաններ և հարմարանքներ՝ աղտոտվածության դեմ պայքարելու համար:
