В Москве прошла церемония закладки памятника Гейдару Алиеву

Мэр Москвы Сергей Собянин во вторник принял участие в церемонии закладки монумента экс-президенту Азербайджана Гейдару Алиеву, сообщает «Интерфакс-Россия».
В церемонии, которая прошла в столичном сквере при посольстве Азербайджана, также приняли участие министр транспорта России Роман Старовойт, заместитель председателя правительства РФ Василий Савельев, генеральный директор РЖД Олег Белозеров, посол Азербайджана Рахман Сагиб оглы Мустафаев и представители общественной организации «Бамовское содружество», пишет российское СМИ.
«В прошедшем году страна отмечала большой юбилей - 50 лет с начала строительства БАМа, одной из самых грандиозных строек Советского Союза, которые по сей день играют огромную роль в экономике нашей страны. В этот год содружество БАМовских строителей обратилось с просьбой поставить памятник Гейдару Алиеву, одному из главных организаторов этой стройки. Правительство РФ, Российские железные дороги активно поддержали эту просьбу. Комиссия Мосгордумы приняла решение поддержать эту просьбу. И мной сегодня подписано распоряжение о строительстве здесь, в сквере, рядом с посольством Азербайджана, памятника Гейдара Алиева», - заявил Собянин в ходе открытия.
