Սաակաշվիլին խոսել է Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի հետ կապեր հաստատելու անհրաժեշտության մասին՝ չհիշատակելով Հայաստանը

Վրաստանի երրորդ նախագահ Միխեիլ Սաակաշվիլին խոսել է Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի հետ կապեր հաստատելու անհրաժեշտության մասին՝ չհիշատակելով Հայաստանը։
Ներկայիս իշխանությունների օրոք Վրաստանը պաշտպանված չէ Ռուսաստանի հետ առճակատումից, ինչը կարող է աղետալի լինել երկրի համար, ասել է նա՝ հեռակա ներկայանալով սահմանի անօրինական հատման գործով դատական նիստին, հաղորդում է Новости-Грузия-ն։
«Մենք լիովին անպաշտպան ենք և, իհարկե, Ռուսաստանի հետ որևէ առճակատման կարիք չունենք։ Սա բացարձակապես կործանարար կլինի վրաց պետականության համար։ Այս առճակատումից խուսափելու համար մենք պետք է ունենանք այն տիպի պետություն, որը շատ ավելի ապահով է։ Այն, ինչ այսօր ունենք՝ լքվածությունն ու անպաշտպանությունը, ուղղակիորեն կոչ է անում զավթիչներին հետագա գործողությունների գնալ», - ասել է Սաակաշվիլին:
Նա կարծում է, որ Վրաստանի համար կարևոր է «անհապաղ» անցկացնել նոր խորհրդարանական ընտրություններ և վերադառնալ ԵՄ-ի հետ ինտեգրման ուղի, «սակայն մինչ այդ, որպեսզի պարզ լինի, որ մենք առճակատում չենք ուզում մեր հարևաններից որևէ մեկի հետ»։
«Մեզ անհրաժեշտ է նաև անվտանգության երաշխիքներ ստանալ և կապեր հաստատել Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի հետ։ Հարավային Կովկասը պետք է միավորվի մեկ բլոկի մեջ, աշխատի փոխօգնության ռեժիմով, և, իհարկե, մենք բոլորս պետք է շարժվենք դեպի Եվրոպա»,- ասել է նա։
Սաակաշվիլին Վրաստանը լքել է 2013 թվականին՝ իր պաշտոնավարման ժամկետի ավարտից հետո։ «Վրացական երազանք»-ի կառավարման առաջին տարիներին նրա դեմ չորս քրեական գործ է հարուցվել։ Նրանցից երկուսի համար Սաակաշվիլին հեռակա կարգով դատապարտվել է երեք և ևս վեց տարվա ազատազրկման։ 2007թ. նոյեմբերի 7-ի ընդդիմության հանրահավաքը ցրելու, ինչպես նաև մոտ 9 մլն լարիի (ավելի քան 3,2 մլն դոլար) չափով պետական միջոցների հափշտակության դեպքերը դեռ քննության փուլում են։
2021 թվականի հոկտեմբերին Սաակաշվիլին գաղտնի ժամանեց Վրաստան, սակայն ձերբակալվեց և նրան նոր մեղադրանք առաջադրվեց սահմանի ապօրինի հատման համար։
2022 թվականի մայիսին երկար հացադուլից հետո առողջական վիճակի վատթարացման պատճառով նրան տեղափոխել են Թբիլիսիի մասնավոր Վիվամեդ կլինիկա, որտեղ նա մնում է մինչ օրս։
Սաակաշվիլին կարծում է, որ «Վրացական երազանքն» իրեն հետապնդում է Ռուսաստանի անունից, քանի որ 2008 թվականի օգոստոսյան պատերազմի ժամանակ նա «փրկեց Վրաստանի պետականությունը» և 2012 թվականին խաղաղ ճանապարհով հանձնեց իշխանությունը՝ «կանխելով սադրանքը»։
