Госдеп: США распорядились об отъезде неэкстренного персонала правительства в Южном Судане

США распорядились об отъезде неэкстренного персонала правительства страны в Южном Судане, говорится в обновленных рекомендациях по путешествиям Госдепа США.

Как отмечает ведомство, причиной является сохраняющаяся угроза безопасности.

«В связи с существующими в стране рисками 8 марта 2025 года Государственный департамент приказал покинуть Южный Судан сотрудникам правительства США, не находящимся в чрезвычайных ситуациях.

Вооруженный конфликт продолжается и включает в себя боевые действия между различными политическими и этническими группами.  Оружие находится в свободном доступе для населения.  Кроме того, по всей стране происходят набеги на скот, которые часто приводят к насилию.

Насильственные преступления, такие как угон автомобилей, перестрелки, засады, нападения, грабежи и похищения людей, распространены по всему Южному Судану, включая Джубу.  Иностранные граждане становятся жертвами изнасилований, сексуальных нападений, вооруженных ограблений и других насильственных преступлений», - подчеркивает Госдепартамент США.

Отмечается также, что репортажи в Южном Судане без соответствующих документов, выданных Управлением СМИ Южного Судана, считаются незаконными, и любая журналистская работа там очень опасна.
