«AREG TV»-ի եթերում երգչուհի Արփինե Բեկջանյանը պատմել է, որ տեղափոխվելով ԱՄՆ ստիպված է եղել թողնել երգարվեստն ու զբաղվել այլ գործով: Բազում դժվարություններ է հաղթահարել՝ հացի խնդրից մինչև բնակարան չունենալու հարց: Աշխատել է ռեստրոնում որպես սպասք լվացող:
«Դաժան էր, բայց ինչ արած: Այդ ընթացքում դա էր պետք անել, այլընտրանք չկար: Իսկ ես համաձայն եմ բոլոր աշխատանքների հետ: Հարցեր կան, որոնց չեմ ուզում անդրադառնալ, որ չվերապրեմ:
Դժվար էտապներ են լինում, որոնք պիտի հաղթահարենք, կարևորը ես պատվով եմ անցել, ոչ ոքից գումար չեմ մուրացել կամ անբարոյական քայլ չեմ արել, որից կամաչեն իմ երեխաները կամ ես»,- ասել է Արփինե Բեկջանյանը:
Երգչուհին որպես վաճառող աշխատել է խանութում, որից հետո ռեստորանում՝ որպես մատուցողուհի:
«Այնպիսի դեմքով էի մոտենում մարդկանց, որ իբրև դա ես չեմ, որ հանկարծ ինձ չճանաչեն: Բայց միևնույն է ճանաչում էին, շատ դեպքում ժպիտս էր մատնում: Հետո արտասվում էի, ու մինչ օրս արտասվում եմ: Բայց այնպես էի լաց լինում, որ աղջիկս չտեսնի, որ ես հանձնված կարգավիճակով իր առաջ չլինեմ: Ես նրան միշտ ասում էի, որ լավ է լինելու:
Որդիս այդ ընթացքում զանգահարում ու հեռախոսով նվագում էր ինձ համար: Այդ ժամանակ ինքն ու հայրը մեզ հետ չէին, Հայաստանում էին: Այս ամենին դիմանալու համար երևի ուժ էի գտնում վերևից»,- անկեղծացել է երգչուհին:
