Թուրքիան կիրակի օրը Եվրամիությանը կոչ է արել անվերապահորեն վերացնել Սիրիայի նկատմամբ պատժամիջոցները՝ Բրյուսելում միջազգային օգնության համաժողովի անցկացման նախաշեմին, որին հրավիրված է Սիրիայի նոր կառավարությունը, հայտնում է Al Arabiya-ն։

Անկարան, որն աջակցում է Սիրիայի նոր առաջնորդներին, որոնք տապալեցին նախագահ Բաշար Ասադին և դեկտեմբերին ստանձնեցին  իշխանությունը, այդ քայլն անհրաժեշտ է համարում երկրում «խաղաղ անցման» համար, ասվում է Թուրքիայի ԱԳՆ հայտարարության մեջ։

Երկուշաբթի օրը Եվրամիությունը կանցկացնի իր իններորդ միջազգային համաժողովը՝ ի պաշտպանություն Սիրիայի։ Առաջին անգամ մասնակցելու համար հրավիրվել են Սիրիայի կառավարության՝ նոր ժամանակավոր իշխանությունների, ներկայացուցիչները։ Միջոցառումը նպատակ ունի միջազգային աջակցություն ձեռք բերել Սիրիայում անցումային շրջանի և դրա վերակառուցման համար ավելի քան 13 տարվա քաղաքացիական պատերազմից հետո: Եվրոպական դաշինքը փետրվարի 24-ին արդեն հայտարարել է Սիրիայի էներգետիկայի, տրանսպորտի և բանկային հատվածի նկատմամբ պատժամիջոցների թուլացման մասին՝ Սիրիայի նախագահ Ահմեդ ալ-Շարաայի առջև ծառացած որոշ խնդիրներ մեղմելու համար:

«Սիրիայի տնտեսական անվտանգությունը կարևոր է երկրի կայունության և անվտանգության համար», - հայտարարել է Թուրքիայի ԱԳՆ-ն՝ հավելելով, որ «պետք է ստեղծել տնտեսական հնարավորություններ և աշխատատեղեր։ Պատժամիջոցները պետք է չեղարկվեն անվերապահորեն և անորոշ ժամկետով»,- ասվում է հայտարարության մեջ։

Մարտի սկզբին Սիրիայի առափնյա շրջանում տեղի ունեցավ ալավիների և երկրի քրիստոնյա բնակչության սարսափելի կոտորած։ Հազարավոր մարդիկ զոհվեցին։ Մեղավորները չեն պատժվել։ Ավելին, այս հարցը երբեք պատշաճ մակարդակով չի բարձրացվել Եվրամիության կողմից։
