Ավանդների գաղափարը սկիզբ է առել Միջագետքում, որտեղ տաճարներն ու պալատները ծառայում էին որպես ապահով վայրեր՝ ցորեն, ոսկի և այլ արժեքավոր իրեր պահելու համար։ Բաբելոնում և Եգիպտոսում գործող առաջին բանկերն արդեն ընդունում էին ավանդներ՝ տրամադրելով պարտքային գրություններ (մուրհակներ), որոնք կարելի է ասել այժմյան ավանդային պայմանագրի նախատիպերն էին:

Այժմ ներկայացնենք 3 պատճառ, թե ինչու ընտրել ավանդը ներդրումներ կատարելու տասնյակ միջոցներից։

  1. Ավանդի հիմնական գաղափարը եղել է ապահովությունն ու անվտանգությունը։ Դարերի ընթացքում ավանդները չեն կորցրել իրենց այդ կարևոր հատկանիշները։

Ներդրումներ կատարելու հազարավոր շահավետ տարբերակներ կան, որոնք սակայն պարունակում են որոշակի ռիսկեր։

Ավանդը կարող է համեմատության մեջ պակաս շահավետ թվալ, սակայն համեմատելիս չպետք է մոռանալ, որ այդտեղ կորուստների հնարավորությունը գրեթե զրոյական է։

ՀՀ-ում անգամ որևէ բանկի անվճարունակության դեպքում ավանդատուները չեն կորցնում իրենց գումարները, հատուկ այդ նպատակով ՀՀ կենտրոնական բանկի կողմից ստեղծվել է ավանդների հատուցումը երաշխավորող հիմնադրամը։ Բանկում ավանդները պաշտպանված են նաև ինֆլացիայից և գողություններից։

  1. Մշտական հասանելիություն քո գումարին։

Ի տարբերություն, օրինակ, ներդրումների բազմաթիվ այլ տարբերակների ավանդատուն կարող է դադարեցնել ավանդային պայմանագիրը և վերցնել գումարը, երբ ցանկանում է։

  1. Մինիմալ ջանքեր ավանդ ձևակերպելու համար։

Ավանդ ձևակերպելու համար պետք չէ ունենալ ֆինանսական կրթություն կամ կատարել բազմաթիվ ուսումնասիրություններ։ Ավանդների մասին ինֆորմացիան չափազանց հասանելի է:
