ՌԴ Անվտանգության խորհրդի փոխնախագահ Դմիտրի Մեդվեդևը հեգնանքով է արձագանքել Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկիի երեկվա հայտարարությանը, որ «Ուկրաինան աղցան կամ կոմպոտ չէ, որ ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի ճաշացանկում լինի»: Այս մասին քաղաքական գործիչը գրել է X սոցիալական ցանցի իր էջում։

Մեդվեդևի խոսքով՝ ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի և ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի հեռախոսազրույցը «հաստատել է այն հայտնի միտքը, որ ճաշասենյակում միայն Ռուսաստանն ու Ամերիկան ​​են»։

«Ճաշասենյակում միայն ՌԴ-ն ու ԱՄՆ-ն ​​են, ճաշացանկում՝ թեթև նախուտեստներ՝ բրյուսելյան կաղամբ, բրիտանական ձուկ և կարտոֆիլ ֆրի, փարիզյան աքաղաղ: Հիմնական ուտեստը կիևյան կոտլետն է: Բարի ախորժակ», - նշել է ՌԴ Անվտանգության խորհրդի փոխնախագահը:

Մարտի 18-ին Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկին կտրուկ էր արձագանքել այն խոսքերին, թե Ուկրաինան Պուտինի «ճաշացանկում» է՝ ասելով, որ երկիրը ճաշատեսակ չէ։ Զելենսկին կարծում է, որ առանց Ուկրաինայի մասնակցության Ուկրաինայում խաղաղության մասին պայմանավորվածություններ ձեռք բերելը ոչ մեկի համար ցանկալի արդյունք չի ապահովի։ Այս մասին, gordonua.com-ի փոխանցմամբ, նա հայտարարել է առցանց մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ։

«Չեմ ցանկանում վիրավորել որևէ մեկին, բայց չեմ ուզում, որ մենք լինենք Պուտինի ճաշացանկում, մենք այս մարդու համար աղցան կամ կոմպոտ չենք՝ չնայած նրա ախորժակին: Մենք տեսնում ենք, թե ինչպիսին է նա: Մենք անկախ պետություն ենք, և հետևաբար կարծում եմ, որ սխալ է առանց մեզ մեր մասին բանակցել, քանի որ այդ պարագայում ցանկալի արդյունք չի լինի ոչ մեկի համար», - բացատրել է Զելենսկին:

Զելենսկին բազմիցս հայտարարել է, որ Կիևն առանց Ուկրաինայի մասնակցության Ուկրաինայի վերաբերյալ ցանկացած բանակցություններ համարում  է ոչ արդյունավետ, և, հետևաբար, չի ճանաչի դրանց արդյունքում ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածությունները։

Մարտի 18-ին հեռախոսազրույց է տեղի ունեցել Ռուսաստանի և ԱՄՆ նախագահների միջև։ Զրույցի ընթացքում Վլադիմիր Պուտինը համաձայնել է Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության և Ուկրաինայի կողմից էներգետիկ օբյեկտների վրա հարձակումից 30 օրով փոխադարձ հրաժարվելու գաղափարին և համապատասխան հրաման տվել զինվորականներին։ Նա նաև երաշխավորել է Կուրսկի մարզում հանձնված ուկրաինացի զինվորականներին «կյանք և արժանապատիվ վերաբերմունք՝ համաձայն ռուսական օրենքների և միջազգային իրավունքի»։
