Մինչ Պաշտպանության նախարարությունը հայտարարում է, թե Հայաստան-Ադրբեջան սահմանագծի երկայնով երբեմն արձանագրվում են կրակոցներ, որոնք չեն թիրախավորում Հայաստանի տարածքը, Սյունիքի մարզի երկու սահմանային գյուղերի՝ Խոզնավարի ու Խնածախի բնակիչներն «Ազատության» հետ զրույցում հաստատում են՝ կրակոցներ կան:

Խոզնավարի բնակիչ Ռոման Գրիգորյանը պատմեց՝ կրակոցները վերջին օրերին են ակտիվացել. - «Գիշերը ժամը 10-ին են կրակել, 2-ին, մեկ էլ 4-ին, էսօր էլ, երեկ էլ: Երեկ դաշտում վար անելուց մեր վրա էլ են կրակել, աշխատանքները 1-2 ժամով դադարեցրել ենք, նորից սկսել ենք»:

Խնածախից Մանուշակ Սողոմոնյանի փոխանցմամբ՝ ադրբեջանական կողմից կրակոցներ լսվում են արդեն հինգերորդ օրը, գյուղում մարդիկ տագնապած են. - «Հինգ գիշեր է՝ անընդհատ կրակոցներ, ժամը 10:20-ին սկսում են մինչև առավոտվա 5:30: Ժողովուրդը խուճապի մեջ է, գյուղի վրայով կարմիր փամփուշտներն են անցնում, ժողովուրդը վախեցած են: Տներին չեն [կրակում], սարերին, միգուցե նաև մի օր՝ տներին, որպեսզի մարդիկ դուրս գան գյուղից: Հինգ գիշեր ա՝ սարսափի մեջ ենք, ու տարբեր տեսակի զենքերով են կրակում»:

«Ազատության» հացին այս դեպքերից առաջ՝ վերջին անգամ ե՞րբ է եղել նման իրավիճակ, բնակիչը պատասխանեց. - «Ընթացքում լինում ա, բայց դե գյուղի բնակչությանը չեն վնասել էսքան տարի ա, ուղղակի կրակում են օդ, դեպի սարերի կողմ, ամեն դեպքում շատ վտանգավոր ա: Սյունիքի տարածքում ամենավտանգավոր գյուղն ա, որ պոստը նայում ա դեպի գյուղ, դպրոց անմիջապես, մոտ ա դպրոցին»:

Խոզնվարից բնակիչներից հայտնեց, որ կրակոցներն ակտիվանում են գիշերային ժամերին, երբ եվրոպացի դիտորդներն արդեն գյուղում չեն: Մինչդեռ Պաշտպանության նախարարությունը պնդում է, թե հրադադարի ռեժիմի խախտման վերաբերյալ հաղորդագրություն չի տարածում, քանի որ դրանք չեն թիրախավորում Հայաստանի տարածքը:

Սյունիքի սահմանային գյուղերի վարչական ղեկավարները հեռախոսազանգերին չեն պատասխանում, իսկ այս գյուղերը միավորող Տեղ խոշորացված համայնքի ղեկավար Դավիթ Ղուլունցը հրաժարվեց որևէ մանրամասն փոխանցել՝ առաջարկելով անձամբ գյուղ գնալ իրավիճակին ծանոթանալու համար:

Անցած շաբաթավերջին տեղեկություններ կային նաև Սոթքում հնչած կրակոցների մասին, սակայն պաշտպանության նախարարը խորհրդարանում լրագրողների հարցին ուղիղ չէր պատասխանել և միայն նշել է, թե իր ղեկավարած գերատեսչությունը հաղորդագրություն տարածում է վտանգավոր կրակոցների ու խախտումների մասին:

Ադրբեջանական կողմից այս կրակոցների մասին տեղեկություններից առաջ Բաքուն ինքն էր անընդհատ հայկական կողմին մեղադրում իր դիրքերը թիրախավորելու համար, ինչը պաշտոնական Երևանը կտրականապես հերքում էր:
