Իտալիա-Հայաստան բարեկամական խմբի խորհրդարանականներ Սիմոնե Բիլլին, Ստեֆանո Բորգեզին, Անդրեա Կազուն, Ջուլիո Չենտեմերոն, Անդրեա Դե Պրիամոն, Ջանմաուրո Դելլ՛Օլիոն, Պիերո Ֆասսինոն, Պաոլո Ֆորմենտինին, Ջորջո Լովեկկիոն, Ռոբերտո Մենյան, Ելենա Մուրելլին, Ֆեդերիկա Օնորին, Անդրեա Օրսինին, Անդրեա Պելլիչինին, Կատյա Պոլիդորին, Էմանուելե Պոցցոլոն և Լուիջի Սպանյոլին հանդես են եկել հայտարարությամբ:
«Անցյալ շաբաթ Հայաստանն ու Ադրբեջանը հաստատեցին, որ խաղաղության համաձայնագրին հասնելու համար կա համաձայնեցված տեքստ, որը կարող է վերջ դնել Հարավային Կովկասի շուրջ 40 տարվա հակամարտությանը: Հայտարարությունն արվեց այն ժամանակ, երբ մեր երկու երկրների բարեկամական պատվիրակության հայ խորհրդարանականներն այցով գտնվում էին Իտալիայում: Եվրամիությունը, Ֆրանսիան, Գերմանիան, Իտալիան, Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգները, Չինաստանը, Ռուսաստանը, ՆԱՏՕ-ն, Սուրբ Հայրը և շատ այլ երկրներ անմիջապես ողջունեցին նորությունը՝ հույս հայտնելով, որ համաձայնագիրը կստորագրվի հնարավորինս շուտ:
Մասնավորապես, Իտալիան պատրաստ է կոնկրետ աջակցել խաղաղության գործընթացին՝ ակտիվորեն մասնակցելով միջնորդությանը և այն ուղու կառուցմանը, որը կերաշխավորի քաղաքացիների անվտանգությունը, բանտարկյալների իրավունքների հարգումը, ներառյալ՝ արդար դատավարությունը և մարդու արժանապատվության լիարժեք պաշտպանությունը։ Որպես Իտալիայի և Հայաստանի միջև միջխորհրդարանական բարեկամական խմբի անդամներ՝ մենք գոհունակություն ենք հայտնում այս հայտարարության կապակցությամբ և միանում ենք համաձայնագիրը անհապաղ ստորագրելու կոչին, ինչը վերջնականապես վերջ կդնի հազարավոր զոհերի և տեղահանվածների պատճառ դարձած դաժան հակամարտությանը»:
