«Հայաստանը ես եմ» նախաձեռնության ղեկավար Նաիրի Սարգսյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է.
 
Հանրային վերահսկողությունը մեծ դեր խաղաց Գյումրիում տեղի ունեցած ընտրությունների արդյունքների վրա։
 
Երեկ Գյումրիում տեղի ունեցած ընտրությունները կարելի է բաժանել երկու հատվածի՝ առաջինը վերաբերվում է լրագրողների և հասարակության զգոնությանը, ինչի արդյունքում կարողացանք խուսափել մեծաքանակ ընտրախախտումներից։ Հենց այս զգոնությունը թույլ տվեց խուսափել ՔՊ-ականների կողմից 50+ տոկոս արհեստական ձայների հավաքումից։ Դրա համար շնորհակալ ենք լրագրողներին և մեր սիրելի քաղաքացիներին՝ իրենց կատարած ահռելի կարևոր աշխատանքի համար։
 
Միևնույն ժամանակ, պետք է նշենք, որ իշխող կուսակցությունը գործադրել էր հնարավոր բոլոր վարչական լծակները, որպեսզի այս ընտրությունները տանուլ չտար։ Նրանք լավ հասկանում էին, որ այս ընտրությունները կարտացոլեն հասարակության իրական վերաբերմունքը և ցույց կտան, թե որքան է հայ ժողովուրդը դադարել վստահել նրանց։ Սա նաև Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի քաղաքական ռեյտինգի հարցն էր։ Եվ իզուր չէր, որ Գյումրիում տեղի ունեցածին նա արձագանքեց որպես «քաղաքացու ընտրություն, որն (իբրև) իրենք հարգում են» պոպուլիստական թեզով։
 
Նիկոլ Փաշինյան, սա քո կամ ՔՊ-ականների կազմակերպած ընտրությունների արդյունքը չէ, այլ հանրային զգոնության, վերահսկողության, լրագրողների աչալուրջ աշխատանքի արդյունքն է։
 
Ինչո՞ւ ենք այս պնդումն անում, որովհետև ընտրություններն առնվազն մի մասով գնացին դասական ընտրախախտումների ճանապարհով։ Ընտրությունների ժամանակ հոսանքազրկումներ, զանգեր, կաշառատվություն, մարդկանց տեղամաս բերելու փորձեր, որոնց վերաբերյալ եղան բազմաթիվ փաստեր ու ահազանգներ։
 
Չնայած այս ամենի՝ Գյումրիում ընդդիմությունը հաղթեց, ցույց տալով Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին, որ նա և իր թիմը վատնել և մսխել են հայ ժողովրդի վստահությունը, հավատը։
 
Հուսանք, որ ընդդիմությունը կգործի միասնական ու նպատակային՝ ի նպաստ հայ ժողովրդի և Գյումրիի։
