2016, ապրիլ 2․
Մեր ժողովուրդն այլ որակ ուներ։ Արցախն անօտարելի էր, Հայրենիք էր։ «Նախկին», «ներկա» չէր, ազգ էր, ժողովուրդ էր՝ ՀԱՅ։
2016-ի ապրիլի 2-ը շաբաթ օր էր, բայց աշխատանքային, երբ պատերազմի գույժը հասավ Ստեփանակերտ։ Բոլորիս հրահանգեցին տուն գնալ։ Լռություն էր ՔԱՂԱՔՈւՄ, շշուկն անգամ ականջ էր ծակում, երբ ՑՈՐ-ից դուրս եկող տանկերի ձայնը խախտելով անվերջանալի թվացող լռությունը պատերազմի մասին «պատմեց»։ Տանկերը վաղուց էին անցել կողքովս, բայց աչքս հեռվից երևացող փոշու ամպից չէի կտրում, ոգևորությունից կարմրած այտերով պատանի զինվորների ետևից շշնջում էի «Աստված իմ պահիր, պահպանիր»։
Ժամեր անց կամավորներն էին արդեն Հրապարակում՝ Արցախից, Հայաստանից…
9 տարի առաջ մենք Ազգ էինք, Ժողովուրդ էինք, բռունցք էինք, միասնական էինք, սիրում էինք իրար, հպարտանում էինք մեր հերոսներով, արցախցի ու հայաստանցի չէինք… ՄԵՆՔ ՀԱՅ ԺՈՂՈՎՈւՐԴՆ ԷԻՆՔ…
