Ատլանտյան օվկիանոսում 6,5 տոննա կոկաին տեղափոխող սուզանավ են կալանավորել

Ատլանտյան օվկիանոսի ջրերում՝ Ազորյան կղզիների մոտ, պորտուգալական իրավապահ մարմինները 6,5 տոննա քաշով կոկաինի մեծ խմբաքանակ տեղափոխող սուզանավը կալանավորելու գործողություն են իրականացրել, գրել են ԶԼՄ-ները։
Պաշտոնական տվյալներով՝ իրավապահները «Թմրասուզանավ» անունով հայտնի նավից առգրավել են մոտ 6,5 տոննա կոկաին։ Նավը կալանավորվել է Ազորյան շրջանում դեպի Պիրենեյան թերակղզի շարժվելիս։
«Նաուտիլուս» ծածկանունով օպերացիան առգրավել է կոկաինի ծավալ, որը ներկայացնում է Պորտուգալիայում 2024 թվականին առգրավված թմրանյութերի ընդհանուր քանակի գրեթե 25%-ը:
Պորտուգալիան հաճախ դիտվում է որպես թմրանյութերի մուտքի հիմնական կետերից մեկը եվրոպական աշխարհամաս:
Ոստիկանությունը հայտնել է, որ կալանավորված նավի մեջ եղել են անձնակազմի հինգ անդամներ, որոնք միջազգային հանցավոր ցանցի մաս են կազմում։
Նավը որսալու գործողությանը մասնակցել են Պորտուգալիայի նավատորմը և օդային ուժերը, նաև միջազգային գործընկերներ, այդ թվում՝ ԱՄՆ Թմրամիջոցների դեմ պայքարի վարչությունը (DEA), Մեծ Բրիտանիայի հանցավորության դեմ պայքարի ազգային գործակալությունը և Իսպանիայի քաղաքացիական գվարդիան:
Պորտուգալիա մտնող կոկաինի զգալի մասը ծովով առաքվում է Հարավային Ամերիկայից, իսկ «նարկոսուզանավերի» հայտնաբերման դեպքերը վերջին ժամանակներս հաճախակիացել են աշխարհի տարբեր շրջաններում։
