ԱՀԿ-ն կոչ է անում պատրաստվել նոր համաճարակի

Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության (ԱՀԿ) գլխավոր տնօրեն Թեդրոս Ադհանոմ Գեբրեյեսուսը հայտարարել է, որ նոր համաճարակը կարող է սկսվել «հենց վաղը»:
Նա կոչ է արել համակարգված ջանքեր գործադրել և միասնական մոտեցում ցուցաբերել ընդհանուր սպառնալիքներին՝ համաշխարհային առողջապահական անվտանգությանը հասնելու համար: ԱՀԿ-ի ղեկավարը կոչ է արել երկրներին ավելի շատ ներգրավվել կազմակերպության համաճարակի համաձայնագիրը ավարտին հասցնելու գործում։
«COVID-19-ի համաճարակն այժմ կարծես հեռավոր հիշողություն է՝ ստվերված հակամարտությամբ, աշխարհաքաղաքական և տնտեսական ցնցումներով: Բայց հաջորդ համաճարակը չի սպասի, որ ամեն ինչ հանդարտվի: Դա կարող է տեղի ունենալ 20 կամ ավելի տարի հետո, կամ դա կարող է տեղի ունենալ վաղը», - ասել է Գեբրեյեսուսը:
ԱՀԿ-ի ղեկավարը հավելել է, որ բանակցողները աշխատել են ավելի քան երեք տարի՝ համաձայնագիր մշակելու համար, որը հիմնված կլինի «ցավոտ դասերի» վրա, որոնք համաշխարհային հանրությունը քաղել է COVID-19-ի դեմ պայքարի ընթացքում: Այն նաև հաշվի կառնի անդամ պետությունների տարբեր կարիքներն ու առաջնահերթությունները և կպաշտպանի ազգային առողջապահական համակարգերը: Եթե երկրները չաշխատեն միասին, նրանք չեն կարողանա հասնել համաշխարհային առողջապահական անվտանգության, ասել է նա։ «Ես հավատում եմ, որ դուք պատրաստ եք գնալ կոնսենսուսի»,- նշել է Գեբրեյեսուսը։
Համաճարակի համաձայնագիրը միջազգային համաձայնագիր է, որը նախատեսված է գլոբալ համագործակցության բացերը վերացնելու համար, որոնք ի հայտ են եկել COVID-19 համաճարակի դեմ պայքարի ժամանակ և շտկելու բոլոր թերությունները: ԱՀԿ ղեկավարի խոսքով՝ այն պետք է ամրապնդի պետությունների միջև համագործակցությունը և ապահովի հետագա մարտահրավերներին արձագանքների զարգացումը։
2024 թվականին Գեբրեյեսուսն ասել է, որ այս առումով առաջնահերթություն է եղել COVID-19 համաճարակի դասերից քաղելը։ Ելույթ ունենալով Դավոսի Համաշխարհային տնտեսական ֆորումի քննարկման ժամանակ՝ ԱՀԿ-ի ղեկավարը մատնանշել է անարդարությունը COVID-19 պատվաստանյութի տրամադրման հարցում։
Խնդիրը, նրա խոսքով, դժվար էր անտեսել, հաշվի առնելով, որ պատվաստումների արշավի առաջին յոթ ամիսների ընթացքում դեղաչափերի 80%-ը մատակարարվել է բարձր և միջին եկամուտ ունեցող երկրներում: «Նեղ ազգային շահերը չպետք է խանգարեն» պայքարելու հանրային առողջության հաջորդ ակնկալվող սպառնալիքի դեմ, այն ժամանակ ամփոփել է ԱՀԿ ղեկավարը։
