Позиции Роберта Кочаряна укрепились: «Паст»

На протяжении всей предвыборной кампании на выборах в Совет старейшин Гюмри распространялась информация о том, что двух кандидатов, Вардана Гукасяна и Карена Симоняна, поддерживает второй президент Роберт Кочарян. По результатам выборов обе силы получили мандаты на выборах в Совет старейшин.
Более того, в первый же день Карен Симонян заявил, что поддержит получившего наибольшее количество голосов от оппозиционных сил Вардана Гукасяна, чтобы тот стал мэром. Рубен Мхитарян также заявил об этом, предотвратив все возможные слухи и спекуляции, которые были вероятны, учитывая «особенности» нашего политического поля. Вчера с соответствующим заявлением выступил также Мартун Григорян, что означает, что мэром Гюмри будет избран Вардан Гукасян. Получается, что если мэром в Гюмри избирается кандидат, который, по имеющейся информации, пользовался поддержкой второго президента, плюс два мандата, полученных от блока «Мать-Армения» , то, соответственно, позиции Роберта Кочаряна фактически укрепляются.
