Американская корпорация Apple заказала чартерный рейс для перевозки из Индии в США 600 тонн iPhone, сообщает в четверг китайское информационное агентство «Цайлянь» со ссылкой на источник.
«Источники сообщили, что технологический гигант Apple заказал чартерный рейс для доставки 600 тонн iPhone, или около 1,5 миллиона единиц, из Индии в США после того, как компания увеличила производство в стране в попытке справиться с пошлинам (президента США Дональда) Трампа», - говорится в сообщении агентства.
Других подробностей не приводится.
Ранее издание Times of India со ссылкой на высокопоставленного индийского чиновника сообщало, что Apple за последнюю неделю марта отправила из Индии в США пять самолетов с iPhone и другими продуктами.
Ранее агентство Рейтер сообщило, что новые пошлины США могут привести к росту цен на iPhone на 43%. Причиной этого может стать тариф в 54%, наложенный Трампом на импорт США из Китая, где производятся большинство устройств Apple.
