Առնվազն 61 մարդ է զոհվել ապրիլի 10-ին և 11-ին հորդառատ անձրևների և ամպրոպի հետևանքով, հայտնել են Հնդկաստանի արևելյան Բիհար նահանգի աղետների կառավարման վարչությունից։ Ութ մարդ էլ զոհվել է հարևան Նեպալում, Ֆրանսպրես գործակալությանը հայտնել են աղետների կառավարման պաշտոնյաները:

Նրանց մահվան մեծ մասը կայծակի հարվածներից է եղել, հայտնել է գերմանական Deutsche Welle պարբերականը։ Առաջիկա օրերին տարածաշրջանում սպասվում է նաև հորդառատ անձրև և ամպրոպ։ Փորձագետները նշում են կլիմայի փոփոխությունը Հնդկաստանում հանգեցրել է մահացու կայծակի հարվածների աճին: Դրանք աշխարհի ամենաբնակեցված երկրում տարեկան գրեթե 1900 մարդու կյանք են խլում:
