Երեկ՝ ապրիլի 12-ին, ավտովթար է տեղի ունեցել Արարատի մարզում։ Ժամը 17։50-ի սահմաններում Մասիս քաղաքի Էջմիածնի խճուղում բախվել են Վայոց ձորի մարզի բնակիչ 43-ամյա Արտակ Ս․-ի վարած «Ford Transit» մակնիշի և Գեղարքունիքի մարզի բնակիչ 28-ամյա Հարութ Հ․-ի վարած «Nissan Xterra» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենաները։
Ինչպես հայտնում է ֆոտոլրագրող Գագիկ Շամշյանը, վթարի հետևանքով 3 հոգի մարմնական վնասվածքներով տեղափոխվել են «Էրեբունի» բժշկական կենտրոն։Դեպքի վայր են ժամանել ՀՀ ներքին գործերի նախարարության ոստիկանության Պարեկային ծառայության Արարատի մարզի գումարտակի 1-ին վաշտի 2-րդ դասակի պարեկները՝ գումարտակի հրամանատար Գրիգոր Բաբաջանյանի, գումարտակի հրամանատարի տեղակալ Աբել Վարդանյանի, գումարտակի ծառայության ավագ տեսուչ Սահակ Թադևոսյանի, վաշտի հրամանատար Արթուր Զիրոյանի, դասակի հրամանատար Համբարձում Տեր-Պողոսյանի և նույն վաշտի 1-ին դասակի հրամանատար, օրվա պատասխանատու Սուրիկ Բարսեղյանի գլխավորությամբ։
Տարածքը սահմանազատել են նույն վաշտի պարեկներ Սամվել Կարապետյանը և Մարատ Մանուկյանը։Վթարի մասին ՊԾ Արարատի մարզի գումարտակից տեղեկությունը փոխանցել են ՀՀ Քննչական կոմիտեի Արարատի մարզային քննչական վարչության Մասիսի քննչական բաժին, որտեղից ժամանել է քննչական խումբը՝ վարչության պետ Տիգրան Շոխոյանի, վարչության պետի տեղակալ Ներսես Մուրադյանի և քննիչ Նարեկ Սիմոնյանի գլխավորությամբ։Վթարի փաստով Մասիսի քննչական բաժնում նախաձեռնվել է քրեական վարույթ, որտեղ էլ պարզվում են վիրավորների ինքնությունը։
