WP. ՑԱԽԱԼ-ը պատասխանատու է Գազայում ՄԱԿ-ի շենքի վրա հարվածի և աշխատակցի մահվան համար

Լուսանկարների վերլուծությունը և աղբյուրների վկայությունները ցույց են տալիս, որ Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակը (ՑԱԽԱԼ) պատասխանատու է Գազայի հատվածում ՄԱԿ-ի Նախագծերի սպասարկման գրասենյակին (UNOPS) հարված հասցնելու համար, ինչի հետևանքով սպանվել է կազմակերպության աշխատակիցը, ևս հինգը վիրավորվել են: Այս եզրակացությանն է հանգել Washington Post (WP) թերթն իր հետաքննության ընթացքում։
Պարբերականի տվյալներով, վնասվածքի բնույթը և ականատեսների ցուցմունքները վկայում են այն մասին, որ շենքի վրա արձակվել են երկու M339 ֆուգասային արկեր, որոնք Գազայում օգտագործում է միայն Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակը՝ իսրայելական Merkava III և IV տանկերի համար։ Արբանյակային լուսանկարները հաստատում են, որ մարտի 19-ին, հարվածի ժամին այս մոդելի մի քանի տանկ է եղել գրասենյակի մասնաճյուղի մոտակայքում։
Առաջին արկը դիպել է շենքին առավոտյան ժամը 11:30-ի սահմաններում, երբ մի խումբ մասնագետներ աշխատանքն ավարտելուց հետո դրսում նստած են եղել, ինչի հետևանքով զոհվել է բուլղարացի աշխատակից Մարին Մարինովը և ծանր վիրավորվել հինգ այլ աշխատակից։ Երկրորդ արկը, երկու րոպե անց, անցք է բացել շենքի երկրորդ հարկի արտաքին պատի վրա և պայթել ներսում։
Իսրայելը հերքում է միջադեպին և UNOPS-ի աշխատակցի սպանությանը իր առնչությունը։ Հարվածից հետո անվտանգության նկատառումներից ելնելով՝ ՄԱԿ-ը հայտարարեց 30 աշխատակցի՝ Գազայում մնացած միջազգային անձնակազմի մոտ մեկ երրորդի, ժամանակավոր տարհանման մասի: Ինչպես նշում են WP-ի աղբյուրները, ՄԱԿ-ի կառույցների և Իսրայելի իշխանությունների միջև փոխադարձ մեծ անվստահություն կա, ինչը զգալիորեն բարդացնում է հումանիտար աշխատողների աշխատանքը։
