Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ընդունել է պաշտոնական այցով Հայաստանում գտնվող Սլովենիայի փոխվարչապետ, արտաքին ու եվրոպական հարցերի նախարար Տանյա Ֆայոնին:
Փաշինյանը ողջունել է Սլովենիայի փոխվարչապետի այցը Հայաստան և համոզմունք հայտնել, որ այն նոր ազդակ կհաղորդի երկկողմ հարաբերությունների հետագա զարգացմանը: Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ընդգծել է երկու երկրների կառավարությունների միջև փոխգործակցության ակտիվացման անհրաժեշտությունը՝ քաղաքական, տնտեսական և այլ ուղղություններով կապերը զարգացնելու և ընդլայնելու նպատակով:
Տանյա Ֆայոնը ևս կարևորել է Հայաստանի հետ հարաբերությունների հետևողական զարգացումը և հավելել, որ ՀՀ այցի նպատակն է քննարկել երկկողմ փոխգործակցության խթանման հնարավորություններն ու հետագա քայլերը:
Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը և Տանյա Ֆայոնը քննարկել են տարածաշրջանային նշանակության թեմաներ: Մասնավորապես, անդրադարձ է կատարվել «Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև խաղաղության և միջպետական հարաբերությունների հաստատման մասին» համաձայնագրի նախագծի համաձայնեցման փաստին: Վարչապետ Փաշինյանն ընդգծել է ՀՀ Կառավարության հավատարմությունը խաղաղության օրակարգին:
Իր հերթին, Տիկին Ֆայոնը վերահաստատել է Սլովենիայի աջակցությունը Հարավային Կովկասում խաղաղության և կայունության հաստատմանն ուղղված ջանքերին՝ ընդգծելով երկխոսության և դիվանագիտական փոխգործակցության կարևորությունը:
Միաժամանակ, նա շեշտել է ՀՀ Կառավարության «Խաղաղության խաչմերուկ» նախագծի կարևորությունը՝ տարածաշրջանային հաղորդակցության ուղիների ապաշրջափակման համատեքստում:
Մտքեր են փոխանակվել նաև Հայաստան-Եվրոպական միություն հարաբերությունների հետագա զարգացման, ինչպես նաև Հայաստանում ընթացող ժողովրդավարական և ինստիտուցիոնալ բարեփոխումների աջակցությանն ու սերտ համագործակցության ընդլայնման հնարավորությունների շուրջ:
