«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
Ապրիլի 24-ի նախօրեին՝ խորհրդանշական 19:15-ին ավանդաբար մեկնարկող «Ջահերով երթը» միշտ է առանձնահատուկ խորհրդանշական բովանդակություն ունեցել: Այլ կերպ չէր էլ կարող լինել՝ հաշվի առնելով այդ՝ արդեն ավանդական երթի խորհուրդը. ոգեկոչել Թուրքիայի կողմից իրականացված Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը, վառ պահել պայքարի ոգին:
Ինչպես ամեն տարի, այս անգամ էլ, բնականաբար, «Ջահերով երթի» նախաձեռնողը ՀՅԴ-ն է՝ ի դեմս իր երիտասարդական և «Նիկոլ Աղբալյան» ուսանողական միությունների: Սակայն, կարծում ենք, ՀՅԴ ներկայացուցիչներն էլ չեն առարկի, որ վերջին տարիներին սա զուտ առանձին վերցրած մեկ կուսակցության միջոցառում չէ: Այն արդեն վերածվել է վերկուսակցական երևույթի, ու դա էլ է օրինաչափ, քանզի համազգային ողբերգության հիշատակն ու հատուցման հասնելը համազգային մղում է և խնդիր:
Այո, «Ջահերով երթը» միշտ է ունեցել իր խորհուրդը, բայց հատկապես հիմա, հատկապես այս օրերին այն հավել յալ ու առանձնահատուկ խորհրդանշականություն է ստացել:
Առաջին հերթին՝ «Ջահերով երթը» համազգային, մեր պարագայում՝ ներհասարակական համախմբման ու համերաշխության որոշակի խորհուրդ ունի: Որքան էլ ցավալի է դա արձանագրելը, բայց «Ջահերով երթը» (ինչպեսև՝ Ապրիլի 24-ին մեր հայրենակիցների հոսքը դեպի Ծիծեռնակաբերդի հուշահամալիր) նաև պայքարի դրսևորում ու ցույց է՝ ընդդեմ ուրացման, ընդդեմ մոռացության ու մանկուրտացման:
Այո, ցավալի փաստն այն է, որ Հայաստանի իշխանությունը այսօր Հայոց ցեղասպանությունն ուրանալու, պատմական անհերքելի իրողությունները ռևիզիոնիստական ու նենգախեղող վերանայման ենթարկելու, ցեղասպանական ոճրագործ Թուրքիային «սպիտակեցնելու» դիրքերից է հանդես գալիս: Նպատակ հետապնդելով ամեն գնով բարեկամանալ Թուրքիայի հետ, իսկ գործնականում Հայաստանը դնել թուրքական տիրապետության տակ, Փաշինյանի գլխավորած իշխանությունը պատրաստ է ուրանալ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը: Ու Փաշինյանի մի շարք հայտարարություններ, այդ թվում՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության միջազգային ճանաչումը Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքական առաջնահերթությունների շարքից դուրս հանելը, դրա մասին են վկայում:
Բայց պարզ է, չէ՞, որ Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչումը սոսկ անցյալի մասին չէ։ Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչումն ու դատապարտումը մեր ներկայի և ապագայի անվտանգության բաղկացուցիչն է: Ու նաև դրա մասին յուրօրինակ հիշեցման խորհուրդ ունի «Ջահերով երթը», որը աշխարհին ապացուցելու է նաև, որ հայ ժողովուրդն ամենևին համակարծիք չէ օրվա իշխանությունների ուրացման քաղաքականության հետ:
Պետք է նկատել, որ Փաշինյանի իշխանությունն ամենևին էլ առաջինը չէ, որ կցանկանար առհավետ մարել հայերիս պատմական հիշողությունը, բայց պայքարը ոչ մի դեպքում չի մարել: Հակառակը, եղել է այնպես, որ ինչքան այդ ճնշումն ուժեղացել է, այնքան ավելի է բորբոքվել պայքարի ջահը: Կարևորը այն մտքում և հոգում վառ պահելն է...
