Հնդկաստանի բանակը հայտարարել է, որ Պակիստանը կրակոցներ է արձակել սահմանային հենակետերի ուղղությամբ։ Այս մասին հայտնում է NDTV հեռուստաալիքը:
Ըստ աղբյուրների՝ երեկոյան Պակիստանը սկսել է կրակել վերահսկողության գծի երկայնքով գտնվող որոշ հատվածներում: Ի պատասխան Հնդկաստանի անվտանգության ուժերը կրակոցներով են պատասխանել։ Հաղորդվում է, որ զոհեր և վիրավորներ չկան:
Հարձակման պատասխանատվությունը ստանձնել է «Դիմադրության ճակատ» խմբավորումը, որը կապված է «Լաշքար-ե-Թայբա» ահաբեկչական կազմակերպության հետ:
Ի պատասխան՝ Հնդկաստանի վարչապետ Նարենդրա Մոդիի գլխավորությամբ գործող անվտանգության հարցերով կաբինետը որոշել է կրճատել Հնդկաստանի և Պակիստանի դեսպանատների անձնակազմը 55-ից մինչև 30 հոգի: Նյու Դելին պահանջել է, որ այդ անցակետով Հնդկաստան մուտք գործած պակիստանցիները լքեն երկիրը մինչև մայիսի 1-ը: Բացի այդ, Հնդկաստանի իշխանությունները արգելել են Պակիստանի քաղաքացիներին մուտք գործել երկիր՝ առանց վիզայի։
Պակիստանի պաշտպանության նախարարն էլ հայտարարել է, որ աշխարհը պետք է մտահոգվի Հնդկաստանի հետ իրենց հակամարտությամբ «Երկու միջուկային տերությունների բախումը մտահոգիչ է: Եթե ինչ-որ բան սխալ ընթացք ստանա, այս դիմակայությունը կարող է ողբերգական ավարտ ունենալ»:
Հիշեցնենք, որ Կրակոցները տեղի են ունեցել Ջամմու և Քաշմիրի Փահալգամ քաղաքի մերձակայքում զբոսաշրջիկների վրա տեղի ունեցած ահաբեկչական հարձակումից մի քանի օր հետո, ինչի հետևանքով զոհվել է 26 մարդ: Այդ հարձակումը նոր ճգնաժամ է առաջացրել Հնդկաստանի և Պակիստանի միջև:
