Սաուդյան Արաբիան և Քաթարը մտադիր են մարել ՀԲ-ին Սիրիայի պարտքը մոտ 15 միլիոն դոլարով

Սաուդյան Արաբիան և Քաթարը պատրաստվում են մարել Համաշխարհային բանկին Սիրիայի պարտքի մոտ 15 միլիոն դոլարը, ասվում է երկու երկրների համատեղ հայտարարության մեջ, ինչը ճանապարհ է հարթում երկրի կաթվածահար պետական հատվածի վերականգնմանը և աջակցությանը նպաստող միլիոնավոր դոլարների դրամաշնորհների հաստատմանը, հաղորդում է Reuters-ը։
Այս ծրագիրը կլինի Սաուդյան Արաբիայի կողմից Սիրիան ֆինանսավորելու առաջին հայտնի դեպքը այն բանից հետո, երբ անցյալ տարի իսլամիստների գլխավորած ապստամբները տապալեցին Սիրիայի նախկին նախագահ Բաշար Ասադին։
Լրատվական գործակալությունը նշում է, որ սա կարող է նաև նշան լինել, որ Սիրիային Պարսից ծոցի արաբական երկրների կողմից կարևոր աջակցությունը իրականություն է դառնում այն բանից հետո, երբ նախկին ծրագրերը, այդ թվում՝ աշխատավարձերի ֆինանսավորման Դոհայի նախաձեռնությունը, հետաձգվեցին ԱՄՆ պատժամիջոցների շուրջ անորոշության պատճառով:
«Այս պարտավորությունը ճանապարհ կհարթի, որպեսզի Համաշխարհային բանկի խումբը վերսկսի աջակցությունն ու գործողությունները Սիրիայում՝ տասնչորս տարվա ընդմիջումից հետո,- ասվում է Սաուդյան Արաբիայի և Քաթարի հայտարարության մեջ։- Սա նաև մոտ ապագայում Սիրիայի համար ֆինանսական աջակցության դուռ կբացի՝ կարևորագույն ոլորտների զարգացման համար»։
Երկու երկրները կոչ են արել «միջազգային և տարածաշրջանային ֆինանսական հաստատություններին անհապաղ վերսկսել և ընդլայնել իրենց ներգրավվածությունը Սիրիայի զարգացման գործում»։
