ՌԴ նախագահի օգնական, Ռազմածովային կոլեգիայի նախագահ Նիկոլայ Պատրուշևը ՏԱՍՍ-ին տված հարցազրույցում հայտարարել է, որ ՆԱՏՕ-ն զորավարժություններ է անցկացնում Ռուսաստանի սահմանների մոտ, որոնցում գործում է Կալինինգրադի շրջանի գրավման սցենարը։
«Արդեն երկրորդ տարին անընդմեջ ՆԱՏՕ-ն մեր սահմանների մոտ անցկացնում է վերջին տասնամյակների ամենամեծ զորավարժությունները, որոնց շրջանակում հարձակողական գործողությունների սցենարներ է կիրառում շատ մեծ տարածքում՝ Վիլնյուսից մինչև Օդեսա», - ասել է Պատրուշևը:
Մասնավորապես, նրա խոսքով՝ դաշինքը կիրառում է Կալինինգրադի շրջանի գրավման և Բալթիկ և Սև ծովերի նավագնացության արգելափակման սցենարներ, ինչպես նաև կանխարգելիչ հարվածներ է հասցնում ռուսական միջուկային զսպման ուժերի մշտական բազաներին։
Անցյալ տարվա հունվարից մարտ ամիսներին Եվրոպայում ՆԱՏՕ-ի երկրների տարածքում անցկացվեցին Steadfast Defender զորավարժությունները, որտեղ դաշինքը կիրառում էր «արևելյան թևում ռուսական հնարավոր ներխուժմանն արձագանքելը»: Կրեմլը դաշինքի լայնածավալ զորավարժությունները որակել է սպառնալիք Ռուսաստանի համար։
