Ադրբեջանի հետ տնտեսական հարաբերություններում երեք տարվա լճացումից հետո աշխուժացում է նկատվում։ Դրա մասին հայտարարել է Իրանի ճանապարհների և քաղաքային զարգացման նախարարի ավագ խորհրդական Ամին Թարաֆոն։
«2025 թվականի փետրվարին մի շարք երկկողմ հանդիպումներից և համատեղ տնտեսական հանձնաժողովից հետո տնտեսական և տրանսպորտային կապերի ոլորտում զգալի առաջընթաց է գրանցվել։ Այդ գործընթացը արագացել է Իրանի նախագահի՝ 2025 թվականի մայիսին Բաքու կատարած այցից հետո։ Ճանապարհների և քաղաքաշինության նախարարը շարունակում է վերահսկել և զարգացնել երկկողմ համագործակցության բոլոր ոլորտները, մասնավորապես՝ առևտրի, էներգետիկայի, նավթի և գազի, բանկային գործի և տրանսպորտի ոլորտներում՝ նպատակ ունենալով զգալիորեն մեծացնել երկու երկրների միջև առևտրի ծավալը։
Նախարարի առաջարկը՝ ստեղծել Իրան-Ադրբեջան-Վրաստան տարանցիկ միջանցք, որը ներկայացվել էր Ադրբեջանի նախագահի հետ քննարկումների ժամանակ, ևս մեկ առաջընթաց էր։ Այդ նախաձեռնությունը մեծ աջակցություն է ստացել Ադրբեջանի պաշտոնյաների շրջանում։ «Նախարարի ջանքերը համահունչ են TRACECA-ում Իրանի, Ադրբեջանի և Վրաստանի համատեղ անդամակցությանը»,-նշել է իրանցի պաշտոնյան։
