2015 թվականաի նոյեմբեր ամսին ԱՄՆ-ից մի երտասարդ մայրիկ տան պայմաններում զարմանալի մի փորձարկում կատարեց: Փորձարկումը շատ հեշտ և բանական էր, իsկ ահա դրա արդյունքերը յուրաքանչյուրիս մտածելու տեղիք են տալիս:
Բրենդին 4-ամյա հիանալի երկվորյակների մայր է: Մի օր նա ցանկացավ զուտ հետաքրքրության համար անցկացնել հետևյալ փորձարկումը: Նա հանգիստ, առանց ձայն հանելու նստել էր սենյակի անկյունում՝ մինչ երեխաները խաղում էին իրար հետ: Միակ բանը, որ նա պետք է աներ՝ հաշվել, թե քանի անգամ են երեխաները շրջվում իր կողմ, այս կամ այն պատճառով: Իր «հետազոտության» արդյունքներով նա կիսվեց Facebook-ում: Ահա, թե ինչ է նա գրել.
«Այսօր ես լուռ նստել էի սենյակի մի անկյունում, մինչ իմ երեխաները խաղում էին, և հետևում էի, թե քանի անգամ նրանք կշրջվեն դեպի ինձ, կնայեն ինձ այս կամ այն պատճառով: Նրանց հետաքրքիր էր տեսնել իմ արձագանքը: Նրանց հուզում էր, արդյոք տեսնում եմ իրենց խորամանկությունները, չարաճճիությունները, հավանություն տալիս եմ իրենց արարքներին, թե ընդհակառակը՝ ջղայնանում եմ:
Եվ այդ ժամանակ ես մտածեցի. Իսկ ինչ կլիներ, եթե ես այդ ընթացքում զբաղված լինեի իմ հեռախոսով, և չիմանայի, թե ինչ է կատարվում շուրջս:
Այդ ժամանակ իմ փոքրիկ հրեշտակները 28 անգամ (հենց այդքան անգամ են նրանք ինձ նայել) կմտածեին, որ համացանցն իրենցից կարևոր է ինձ համար: 28 անգամ իմ երեխաներն իրենց միայնակ կզգային: 28 անգամ ես անուշադրության կմատնեի իմ երեխաներին: 28 անգամ իմ փոքրիկները կմտածեին, որ այն, ինչ տեղի է ունենում օնլայն կյանքում ավելի կարևոր է, քան իրական կյանքը:
Խնդրում եմ, մի կողմ դրեք ձեր բջջային հեռախոսները և ժամանակ անցկացրեք ձեր հարազատների հետ: Հաջորդ սերունդը հույս ունի, որ մեք իրենց սովորեցնելու ենք, թե ինչ բան է մեծահասակ լինելը: Իսկ մենք ուղղակի ժամանակ ենք սպանում համացանցում…»:
Բրենդիի այս ազդեցիկ խոսքերը հիշեցնում են մեզ, թե ինչն է իրականում կարևոր այս կյանքում: Եվ չնայած նա եկել է այդ մտքին բավականին տարօրինակ ճանապարհով, բայց դրանից հարցի էությունը չի փոխվում:
