Դիվանագետների համահայկական խորհրդի հայտարարությունը․
«Մայիսյան եռատոնը հայ ժողովրդի նորագույն պատմության պանծալի էջերից է, հայկական ոգու տոկունության և հանուն արդարության ու ազատության մղված պայքարի պսակի գոհարներից:
80 տարի առաջ նաև հայ ազգի զավակների արյամբ է կերտվել Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմում և Երկրորդ աշխարհամարտում տարած հաղթանակը, որն ապահովել է հայ ժողովրդի վերածնունդն իր պատմական հայրենիքի փրկված պատառիկում:
33 տարի առաջ Շուշիի ազատագրմամբ ու Արցախի Պաշտպանության բանակի ստեղծմամբ հայի ազատատենչ կամքն է ձևավորել հանուն արդարության ու անկախության իր պայքարի ուխտը:
Այդ հաղթանակներում հայ ժողովրդի հազարավոր զավակներ իրենց անմահ անունն են դաջել հերոսների փառքի մատյաններում: Հավերժ փա՛ռք նրանց:
Ցավոք, այսօր փորձ է արվում, խեղաթյուրելով պատմությունը, նսեմացնել այս տոների կարևոր խորհուրդը, և ջնջել այն մեր ժողովրդի հիշողությունից` դրանով իսկ անելանելիություն, կամազրկություն ու պարտվողականություն ներարկելով հանրային տրամադրություններում և մտածելակերպում:
Հանուն սին խոստումների և պատրանքային ու կեղծ «խաղաղության օրակարգի» ազգակործան ծրագրերը սպասարկող ներկա կառավարիչների ջանքերը չեն կարող մոռացության տալ մեր հերոսներին և մեր հաղթանակները:
Մենք իրավատե՛ր ենք մեր հաղթանակների: Մեզ ֆաշիզմից պաշտպանած և Շուշին ազատագրած հայորդիները արժանի՛ են հավերժական մեծարանքի ու փառաբանման: Մեր պատմության հերոսական էջերի վառ հիշատակումը ի չիք է դարձնելու հայ ազգին ծնկի բերելու թշնամական ցանկացած ծրագիր: Ի հակառակ նոր ժամանակների զավթիչների՝ հայկական հետքը ոչնչացնելու քաղաքականության, հայոց բերդաքաղաքը պատմության մեջ և մեր հիշողություններում մնալու է որպես Արցախի մշակութային ու հոգևոր կենտրոն, իսկ 1992թ. մայիսի 9-ից՝ նաև ռազմական արվեստի, հայկական ոգու և արիության փայլուն օրինակ:
Դժբախտաբար, ֆաշիզմի դեմ պայքարը ոչ միայն չի ավարտվել, այլև նոր մարմնավորում է ստացել՝ հակահայկականության և հայատյացության տեսքով: Սակայն հանուն իրական խաղաղության, ազատության ու անկախության, սեփական հայրենիքում արարելու և ապագան կերտելու հաստատակամությամբ տոգորված հայ ժողովուրդը պահանջատեր է իր իրավունքներին ու հավատարիմ անցյալի հաղթանակներին:
