ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Մարկո Ռուբիոն մայիսի 11-14-ը կուղեկցի նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփին Սաուդյան Արաբիա և Քաթար, որտեղ նախագահը կձգտի ամրապնդել կապերը Միացյալ Նահանգների և Պարսից ծոցի գործընկերների միջև, հայտնում է ԱՄՆ Պետդեպարտամենտի մամուլի ծառայությունը։

Հաղորդագրության համաձայն, Մերձավոր Արևելք այցից հետո Ռուբիոն մայիսի 14-16-ը կմեկնի թուրքական Անթալիա՝ մասնակցելու ՆԱՏՕ-ի արտաքին գործերի նախարարների ոչ պաշտոնական հանդիպմանը, որտեղ կքննարկվեն Հյուսիսատլանտյան դաշինքի անվտանգության ոլորտի առաջնահերթությունները, ներառյալ դաշնակիցների կողմից պաշտպանության ոլորտում ներդրումների ավելացումը և ռուս-ուկրաինական պատերազմի դադարեցումը։
