Եթե Հայաստանը կարողանա ակտիվ պայմանագրերի մեջ մտնել Իրանի հետ, ապա Արևմուտքի կողմից պատժամիջոցների չեղարկումը դրական կանդրադառնա նաև Հայաստանի տնտեսության վրա: Այս մասին Past.am-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց տնտեսագետ Վիլեն Խաչատրյանը:

«Իրանի զարգացումը մեզ ձեռնտու է, քանի որ ունենք այնտեղից տուրիստական հոսքեր: Իրանը մեզ համար ներմուծման և արտահանման տեսանկյունից չորրորդ գործընկերն է, բայց, այնուամենայնիվ, պետք է ստեղծել տնտեսական, ազատ մրցակցային հարաբերությունների դաշտ, որ այդ երկիրը կարողանա իր ներուժը լիարժեքորեն իրագործել Հայաստանում:

Եթե տվյալ երկիրը, գործարարները Հայաստանում զգացին դժվարություններ, նրանք փնտրելու են ազատ գործունեության շրջանակներ»,- ասաց տնտեսագետը՝ նշելով, որ Հայաստանի բնակչության փոքր թիվը, հետևաբար, փոքր տնտեսությունը հանգեցնում է այն բանին, որ Իրանը ո´չ շատ առնելիք ունի, ո'չ էլ Հայաստանին շատ բան ունի տալու:
