ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը Դոհայում անցկացված բանակցությունների ժամանակ Կատարի էմիր շեյխ Թամիմ բին Համադ ալ Թանիի հետ քննարկել է ուկրաինական հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորումը։
«Դա մի քանի ժամ տևած շատ հետաքրքիր [զրույց] էր։ Մենք քննարկեցինք խաղաղությունը։ Քննարկեցինք Ռուսաստանի և Ուկրաինայի հարցը, որտեղ դուք մեծ օգնություն եք ցուցաբերել բազմաթիվ առումներով։ Քննարկեցինք նաև Իրանի հարցը, որտեղ շատ հետաքրքիր իրավիճակ է ստեղծվել։ Այնպիսի տպավորություն ունեմ, որ, այսպես թե այնպես, ամեն ինչ կկարգավորվի»,- Կատարի հետ մի շարք համաձայնագրեր ստորագրելուց հետո ընդգծել է ամերիկացի առաջնորդը։
Թրամփը պատմել է, որ միապետությունն ամերիկյան Boeing ինքնաթիռաշինական ընկերությունից 200 միլիարդ դոլարով ավելի քան 160 ինքնաթիռ ձեռք կբերի։ «Դա Boeing-ի պատմության մեջ ինքնաթիռների ամենամեծ պատվերն է»,-հավելել է ԱՄՆ նախագահը։ Բացի դրանից, ռազմական հարցերի վերաբերյալ երկկողմ համաձայնագրեր են ստորագրվել։
