Միացյալ Նահանգները և Կատարը 1,2 տրիլիոն դոլարի համաձայնագիր են ստորագրել։ Դրա մասին ասված է Սպիտակ տան բացատրական փաստաթղթում։

«Այսօր Կատարում ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը Կատարի հետ ստորագրել է առնվազն 1,2 տրիլիոն դոլարի տնտեսական շրջանառության վերաբերյալ համաձայնագիր։ Նախագահ Թրամփը նաև հայտարարեց Միացյալ Նահանգների և Կատարի միջև ավելի քան 243,5 միլիարդ դոլարի տնտեսական գործարքների մասին, դրանց թվում՝ Boeing ինքնաթիռների և GE Aerospace շարժիչների պատմական վաճառքը Qatar Airways ավիաընկերությանը»,-նշել են Սպիտակ տանը։

Այսպիսով, Qatar Airways-ը կգնի 210 ժամանակակից Boeing 787 Dreamliner և 777X ինքնաթիռներ՝ 96 միլիարդ ԱՄՆ դոլարով։ Միաժամանակ, համաձայնագիրը ստորագրելուց հետո Թրամփը հայտարարել է, որ գործարքը վերաբերում է 200 միլիարդ դոլարով ավելի քան 160 ինքնաթիռ գնելուն։ Բացի դրանից, Կատարը ամերիկյան General Atomics ընկերությունից 2 միլիարդ դոլարով ութ MQ-9B երկար տևողության անօդաչու թռչող սարքեր կգնի։ Միապետությունը միաժամանակ ամերիկյան Raytheon կորպորացիայից 1 միլիարդ դոլարով անօդաչու թռչող սարքերի դեմ պայքարի սարքավորումներ կգնի։

Միացյալ Նահանգները և Կատարը համաձայնության են եկել ամրապնդել իրենց երկկողմ ռազմական հարաբերությունները և հնարավոր է՝ ներդնել ավելի քան 38 միլիարդ դոլար։ Այդ գումարի մի մասը կուղղվի Կատարում տեղակայված՝ Մերձավոր Արևելքում ամենախոշոր Ալ Ուդեյդի ավիաբազային:
