Հանրային հեռուստաընկերությունը պարզաբանում էր պահանջել Իսրայելի Հանրային հեռարձակողից` «Եվրատեսիլ» երգի միջազգային մրցույթի երկրորդ կիսաեզրափակիչի ժամանակ Հայաստանի մասնակցի ելույթից հետո իրենց հեռուստամեկնաբանի կողմից հնչեցրած մեկնաբանության համար։
«Ներկայացնում ենք Իսրայելի Հանրային հեռարձակողի գլխավոր տնօրենի պաշտոնական նամակը՝ Հայաստանի Հանրային հեռուստաընկերության գործադիր տնօրենին, որտեղ իսրայելական կողմը ներողություն է խնդրում հաղորդավարի կողմից հնչեցրած արտահայտությունների համար։
Կից ներկայացված է պաշտոնական նամակը.
Եվրատեսիլի հեռարձակումները Իսրայելում ավանդաբար ուղեկցվում են հումորային և թեթև մեկնաբանություններով, որոնց ընթացքում մեկնաբանների զույգը զվարճալի և հետաքրքիր դիտարկումներ է անում երգերի, կատարողների և մասնակցող երկրների վերաբերյալ։
Եվրատեսիլի երկրորդ կիսաեզրափակիչի ընթացքում մեկնաբաններն անմիջական հումորային մեկնաբանություններ են արել, այդ թվում՝ Հայաստանի երգի վերաբերյալ, ինչպես անում են գրեթե բոլոր կատարումների դեպքում։ Նշված կատակներից մեկը, որը ուղղված էր բացառապես երգին և ոչ թե երկրին կամ հայ ժողովրդին, ակամայից վիրավորել է հայ համայնքի որոշ անդամների։ Սա իհարկե միանգամայն դիտավորությամբ չի եղել։
Ընդհակառակը՝ մի քանի առիթներով իսրայելական պատվիրակության անդամները կարևորել են Հայաստանի երգի հետ ունեցած կապը և ընդգծել երկու պատվիրակությունների միջև ջերմ հարաբերությունները։
Երբ իմացանք, որ մեկնաբանությունն ընկալվել է որպես վիրավորանք, տվյալ արտահայտությունը կատարած մեկնաբանը հրապարակավ ներողություն է խնդրել իր անձնական հարթակում։ Բացի այդ, պարզաբանում կներկայացվի մեկնաբանների կողմից այս երեկոյի ուղիղ եթերում։
