Իսրայելցի մեկնաբանը հրապարակավ ներողություն է խնդրել «Եվրատեսիլ»-ի Հայաստանի մասնակցի ելույթից հետո հնչեցրած վիրավորական մեկնաբանության համար։

«Հումորային մեկնաբանություններ են եղել և որևէ դիտավորություն չի եղել»,-գրել է մեկնաբանը՝ նշելով, որ հայերը երկար տարիներ նշանակալի ներկայություն ունեն Երուսաղեմի Հին քաղաքում: «Մենք, իհարկե, այստեղ չենք, որպեսզի վիրավորենք որևէ մեկին, պարզապես մի փոքր հումոր արեցինք Իսրայելի բոլոր էթնիկական խմբերի (ներառյալ հայ) հեռուստադիտողների համար։ Բացի այդ, Եվրատեսիլում Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչ Պարգը՝ նկարվել է Իսրայելի դրոշով, ուստի նա իրականում մեր եղբայրն է»,-ասել է մեկնաբանը:

Հիշեցնենք, որ Երուսաղեմի SavetheArQ (Փրկե՛ք հայկական թաղամասը) շարժման նախաձեռնող խումբը X-ի պաշտոնական էջում տեղեկացրել էր, որ Իսրայելցի հաղորդավարը վիրավորել է հայերին։ Նրանք դիմել էին Իսրայելի հանրային հեռարձակող կորպորացիային՝ հրապարակայնորեն հերքելու արված հայտարարությունը և պաշտոնական ներողություն խնդրելու Երուսաղեմի հայ համայնքից։

«Չեմ կարող հավատալ, որ մենք Երուսաղեմի մի ամբողջ թաղամաս տվեցինք այս տղաներին»,- ասել է Իսրայելի հանրային հեռարձակման կորպորացիայի Kan 11 հեռուստաընկերության հաղորդավարը ուղիղ եթերում «Եվրատեսիլի» Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչ Պարգի ելույթից հետո։

SavetheArQ Շարժման հայտարարության մեջ նշված է, որ անդամները խիստ դատապարտում են այդ «անհանգստացնող, անհիմն, ռասիստական և վիրավորական դիտողությունը».

«Ցանկանում ենք պարզաբանել, որ Երուսաղեմի հայկական թաղամասը ոչ մեկին չի «տրվել»։ Այն կառուցվել, պահպանվել և մշակվել է դարերի ընթացքում հայ ժողովրդի կողմից, որը պահպանել է իր անխափան ներկայությունը Սուրբ Երկրում և Երուսաղեմում, մասնավորապես՝ ավելի քան 1600 տարի։ Այս ներկայությունը համաշխարհային ճանաչում ունի»։
