Հայաստանը կատարել է անշրջելի ընտրություն՝ դեպի ժողովրդավարություն, դեպի խաղաղություն, դեպի Եվրոպա։ Այդ մասին այսօր ԵՄ Արևելյան Եվրոպայի և Կենտրոնական Ասիայի դեսպանների տարածաշրջանային հավաքի մեկնարկին իր ելույթի ժամանակ ասել է ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանը: Տեղեկությունը հայտնում է ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի ծառայությունը։

«Մենք կանգնած ենք վճռական պահի առջև։ Մենք վստահ ենք, որ այս վճռական քայլերին մեր եվրոպացի գործընկերները կպատասխանեն նույնքան համարձակ և ռազմավարական ներգրավվածությամբ՝ ամրապնդելով իսկապես փոխադարձ և վերափոխող գործընկերությունը։ Այդպիսով, մենք ձգտում ենք ոչ միայն աջակցության, այլև գործընկերության, ոչ միայն խրախուսանքի, այլև կայուն ներգրավվածության: Միասին մենք կարող ենք ցույց տալ, որ ավելի ու ավելի տրոհված աշխարհում սկզբունքային, համախոհ գործընկերությունները դեռևս կարևոր են»,– ասել է Միրզոյանը:

Նա ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանը համարձակ քայլեր է ձեռնարկել իր գործընկերային հարաբերությունները դիվերսիֆիկացնելու ուղղությամբ։ Այս համատեքստում նախարարը նշել է ԱՄՆ հետ համապարփակ Ռազմավարական գործընկերության կանոնակարգի ստորագրումը, ինչպես նաև նշանակալից է համարել ՀՀ իշխանությունների կողմից ակտիվ քայլերի ձեռնարկումը ԵՄ անդամ պետությունների հետ ռազմավարական գործընկերության ընդլայնման ուղղությամբ։

«Հայաստանը մինչև 95% նվազեցրել է պաշտպանական ներկրումների կախվածությունը մեկ աղբյուրից: Զուգահեռաբար, մեր կառավարությունը կարողացել է ավելի ինքնուրույն իրականացնել սահմանային վերահսկողություն, ինչպես նաև դիտարկել էներգետիկ անկախությունն ապահովող այլընտրանքային ուղիներ՝ ներառյալ ատոմային և վերականգնվող էներգիայի ոլորտներում»,– հայտարարել է Միրզոյանը։

Նա անդրադարձել է նաև Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև խաղաղության պայմանագրի ստորագրմանը` նշելով, որ ՀՀ իշխանությունները հետևողականորեն ձգտում են Ադրբեջանի հետ համապարփակ և ինստիտուցիոնալացված խաղաղության հաստատման։

«Մինչդեռ դեռևս պարզ չէ` արդյո՞ք Ադրբեջանն ունի անկեղծ մտահոգություններ, թե՞ արհեստականորեն ձգձգում է գործընթացը, բայց փաստն այն է, որ երկու երկրների միջև համաձայնեցված Խաղաղության պայմանագիրը դեռ չի ստորագրվել»,– նշել է ԱԳ նախարարը։

Նա կոչ է արել եվրոպացի գործընկերներին ակտիվացնել իրենց աջակցությունն այս գործընթացին՝ ակնկալելով, որ նրանք հետևողականորեն կընդգծեն Հայաստանի հետ խաղաղության համաձայնագրի անհապաղ ստորագրման անհրաժեշտությունը թե՛ Բաքվի հետ իրենց ուղղակի շփումներում, թե՛ իրենց հրապարակային հայտարարություններում։
