Կառավարությունը որոշել է Թոքաբանության ազգային կենտրոնը միացման ձևով վերակազմակերպել` միացնելով այն Ինֆեկցիոն հիվանդությունների ազգային կենտրոնին:

Արդյունքում հնարավոր կլինի ունենալ՝ վարչական և լոգիստիկ գործընթացների կենտրոնացում, որը կնպաստի բուժման արդյունավետություն բարձրացմանը: Ռեսուրսները կօգտագործվեն ավելի խելամիտ` խուսափելով կրկնակի ծախսերից։ Ռեսուրսների արդյունավետ օգտագործումը կկրճատի գործառնական ծախսերը, համատեղելով վարչական գործառույթները, բժշկական սարքավորումների և մարդկային ռեսուրսների համատեղ օգտագործումը։

Միավորված կենտրոնը կարող է ապահովել համալիր խնամք մեկ վայրում, ինչը կհեշտացնի բուժման կազմակերպումը և կբարելավի արդյունքները։ Կբարելավվի ախտորոշման, բուժումն ու վերահսկումը՝ լաբորատորիաների, հետազոտությունների և կլինիկական փորձառությունների միավորումը կարող են նպաստել վարակների վաղ հայտնաբերմանը և հետագա բուժման կազմակերպմանը:

Բժշկական անձնակազմը կարող է անցնել վերապատրաստում և տուբերկուլոզի, և այլ վարակիչ հիվանդությունների գծով, ինչը կբարձրացնի անձնակազմի ճկունությունը տարբեր վարակներին և առողջապահական խնդիրներին արձագանքելու համար։ Հնարավորություն կստեղծվի լայնածավալ հետազոտություններ իրականացնելու համար` կապված շնչառական վարակների, համավարակների և հակամանրէային կայունության հետ։
