- Եգիպտական հինավուրց բուրգերից շատերը կառուցվել են որպես փարավոնների ու նրանց ընտանիքների տապանաքարեր: Եգիպտոսում մոտ 130 բուրգէհայտնաբերվել:
- Հետմահու կյանքը շատ կարևոր էր եգիպտացիների համար: Նրանք հավատում էին, որ եթե պահպանեն մահացած մարդու մարմինը մումիացման միջոցով, ապահոգին մահվանից հետո հավերժ կապրի:
- Քեոփսի բուրգը Գիզայում ամենամեծ եգիպտական բուրգն է: Այս անկրկնելի կառույցը ԱՄՆ-ի Էմփայը Սթեյթ շենքերից 16 անգամ ծանրէ:
- Եգիպտացիկանայքևտղամարդիկ շպարվում էին: Աչքերի ներկը սովորաբար կանաչ էր (պատրաստված պղնձից) կամ սև (պատրաստված կապարից): Նրանք հավատում էին, որ բացի արևից պաշտպանելուց` շպարը ունի կախարդական բուժիչ ուժ:
- Հին եգիպտական մումիայի գլանափաթեթները չփաթաթած վիճակում կարող էին 1.6 կմ ձգվել:
- Եգիպտական այբուբենը բաղկացած էր 700 հիերոգլիֆներից:
- Հին եգիպտացիները հավատում էին ավելի քան 2000 աստվածության: ՆրանքունեցելենԱստված` կյանքիյուրաքանչյուրդեպքիհամար: Յուրաքանչյուրը պատասխանատու էր տարբեր երևույթների համար և պետք էրբոլորին երկրպագել, որպեսզի կյանքը հավասարակշռության մեջ լիներ:
- Կատուները համարվում էին սուրբ կենդանիներ: Ասում են, որ շատ ընտանիքներ կատուներինպահումէինորպես ընտանի կենդանի և հավատում էին, որ այն տնային գործերին հաջողություն կբերի:
- Հին եգիպտացիները սիրում էին խաղալ սեղանի խաղեր: Հայտնի խաղերից մեկը կոչվում էր Սենեթ: Այն խաղացել են 2000 տարի շարունակ: Խաղը հետևյալն էր. շպրտում էին փայտի կտորներ (այնպես, ինչպես մենք զառերը), որպեսզի տեսնեն, թե քանի քայլ է առաջ գնալու խաղացողը իր խաղաքարով:
- Հին եգիպտացիներն են հայտնաբերել շատ իրեր, որ մենք մինչև այսօր օգտագործում ենք՝ թուղթը, գրիչը, փականնու բանալին, ատամի մածուկը:
