Իտալական մամուլը կոշտ քննադատության է ենթարկել Միլանի «Ինտերի» կիսապաշտպաններին՝ Չեմպիոնների լիգայի եզրափակիչում Փարիզի ՊՍԺ-ից 0:5 հաշվով կրած պարտությունից հետո։

Corriere dello Sport-ը գրում է, որ Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանը, Հական Չալհանօղլուն և Նիկոլո Բարելան «կանգնած էին լուսարձակված եղջերուի պես»՝ ՊՍԺ-ի ճնշման դիմաց։ Փարիզյան թիմը լիովին տիրապետում էր խաղադաշտի կենտրոնին։ Ժոաո Նևեշը, Վիտինյան և Ֆաբիան Ռուիսը փայլում էին արագ փոխանցումներով և շարժումով՝ «Ինտերի» կիսապաշտպաններին թողնելով ստվերում։

Հատկապես ընդգծվել է Մխիթարյանի խաղը՝ որպես բացասական օրինակ։ Թերթը նշում է, որ հայ ֆուտբոլիստը «ցուցադրեց իր տարիքը» այնպես, ինչպես երբեք չէր արել «Բավարիայի» կամ «Բարսելոնայի» դեմ խաղերում։ Չալհանօղլուն և Բարելան նույնպես չկարողացան ցույց տալ իրենց լավագույն կողմերը՝ անընդհատ ճնշվելով ՊՍԺ-ի արագաշարժ և կազմակերպված խաղացողների կողմից։

Gazzetta dello Sport-ը հավելում է, որ այս պարտությունը ցույց տվեց «Ինտերի» անկարողությունը՝ ֆիզիկապես դիմակայելու ավելի երիտասարդ և ագրեսիվ մրցակցին։ «Ինտերի» մեկնարկային կազմի միջին տարիքը մոտ 30 էր, մինչդեռ ՊՍԺ-ինը՝ շուրջ 25։ Այս տարիքային տարբերությունը դաշտում անմիջապես նկատելի էր։
