Նախագահի աշխատակազմի մամուլի ծառայությունը հաղորդագրություն է տարածել․

«Հանրապետության նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանն այսօր ընդունել է պաշտոնական այցով Հայաստանում գտնվող Ռուսաստանի Դաշնային ժողովի Դաշնության խորհրդի նախագահ Վալենտինա Մատվիենկոյի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը։

Նախագահը ողջունել է Վալենտինա Մատվիենկոյին և պատվիրակության անդամներին՝ կարևորելով Հայաստան-Ռուսաստան հարաբերությունների շարունակական զարգացումն ու խորացումը՝ հիմնված պատմական կապերի, փոխադարձ հարգանքի և բարեկամության վրա։

Վալենտինա Մատվիենկոն շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ջերմ ընդունելության համար՝ վերահաստատելով Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության պատրաստակամությունը շարունակելու կառուցողական համագործակցությունը Հայաստանի հետ բոլոր ուղղություններով։

Հանդիպման ընթացքում կողմերը մտքեր են փոխանակել երկկողմ օրակարգի մի շարք հարցերի շուրջ՝ ընդգծելով միջխորհրդարանական փոխգործակցության, տնտեսական համագործակցության և մշակութային կապերի զարգացման կարևորությունը։

Այս համատեքստում անդրադարձ է կատարվել նաև աշնանը Ռուսաստանում նախատեսված «Հայկական մշակույթի օրեր» միջոցառմանը՝ կարևորելով նման նախաձեռնությունների դերը ժողովուրդների միջև փոխըմբռնման և մշակութային երկխոսության խթանման գործում»։
