Կարաչիում յուրօրինակ տոնակատարություն է համարվում Կոկորդիլոսի փառատոնը: Սա կազմակերպվում է Պակիստանի էթնիկ խմբերից մեկի՝ Շիիդիսի կողմից: Համարվում է, որ նրանք Աֆրիկայից են եկել որպես ստրուկներ: Փառատոնը տեղի է ունենում Մանգհոպիր սրբավայրում: Այն գտնվում է Կարաչիի չոր հատվածում և թվագրվում է 13-րդ դարին:
Փառատոնի ժամանակ մարդիկ կերակրում են կոկորդիլոսներին, պարում են ու երգում: Այնուամենայնիվ, փառատոնի ամենաուշագրավն ու հետաքրքիրը հետևյալ հատվածն է՝ հայրը վերցնում է իր տղա երեխային և կախած պահում նրան կոկորդիլոսի երախի վերևի մասում: Սա արվում է երեխայի համար օրհնություն ստանալու նպատակով:
Փառատոնի ընթացքում մարդիկ իրենց հետ սրբավայր են տանում նաև երաշխավորություններ, որոնք տրվում են կոկորդիլոսներին և բաղկացած են լինում թարմ այծի մսից:
Եթե կոկորդիլոսները ընդունում են միսը, դա համարվում է հաջողության նշան: Նրանք հավատում են, որ կոկորդիլոսները չեն հարձակվի, քանի որ նրանք սուրբ Խոջա Հասանի աշակերտներն են:
