Իրանի ԱԳՆ պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Էսմայիլ Բաղային խստորեն դատապարտել է ԱՄՆ ֆինանսների նախարարության կողմից սահմանված նոր պատժամիջոցները մի շարք իրանական և ոչ իրանական ֆիզիկական ու իրավաբանական անձանց դեմ՝ առևտրային և բանկային ոլորտներում Իրանի հետ համագործակցության պատրվակով, հայտնում է Mehr-ը։

Իրանի ԱԳՆ ներկայացուցիչը հայտարարել է, որ Իրանի դեմ ԱՄՆ նոր պատժամիջոցները, «որոնք սահմանվել են իրանցի ժողովրդի վրա առավելագույն ճնշման անմարդկային և ձախողված քաղաքականության շրջանակում, ոչ միայն անօրինական են և խախտում են միջազգային իրավական սկզբունքներն ու նորմերը, այլև ԱՄՆ իշխող ռեժիմի՝ իրանցի ազգի նկատմամբ խորը և մշտական թշնամանքի ևս մեկ վկայությունն են»։

Բաղային ընդգծել է, որ, անկասկած, Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության դեմ ԱՄՆ պատժամիջոցները, «որոնք մշակված և իրականացվում են յուրաքանչյուր իրանցի քաղաքացու վրա ճնշումն ուժեղացնելու և նրան մարդու հիմնարար իրավունքներից զրկելու նպատակով, էլ ավելի կամրապնդեն իրանցի ժողովրդի վճռականությունը՝ պաշտպանելու իրենց օրինական իրավունքներն ու շահերը Վաշինգտոնի չարաշահումների դիմաց»։

Հունիսի 6-ին ԱՄՆ ֆինանսների նախարարությունը հայտարարել է Իրանի դեմ նոր պատժամիջոցներ սահմանելու մասին՝ Թեհրանի և Վաշինգտոնի միջև շարունակվող միջուկային բանակցությունների ֆոնին։

ԱՄՆ պատժամիջոցների վերջին ցուցակում հայտնվել են 10 ֆիզիկական անձ և 27 ընկերություն։
