Ֆինլանդիան նախատեսում է տարեկան միլիարդավոր եվրոյով ավելացնել իր պաշտպանական բյուջեն՝ Ռուսաստանից մշտական սպառնալիքի պատճառով։
Այս մասին հայտարարել է երկրի վարչապետ Պետերի Օրպոն։
Ըստ Օրպոյի՝ լրացուցիչ միջոցները կուղղվեն ցամաքային զորքերի ամրապնդմանը, արևելյան սահմանի ամրապնդմանը և հակաօդային պաշտպանության համակարգի զարգացմանը։
«Մենք մտածելու ժամանակ չունենք»,- ընդգծել է Ֆինլանդիայի վարչապետը։
Հելսինկին մտադիր է մինչև 2029 թվականը պաշտպանական ծախսերը հասցնել ՀՆԱ-ի 3%-ին։ Սա ենթադրում է բյուջեի տարեկան աճ 1,5-2 մլրդ եվրոյով։ Ֆինլանդիան աջակցում է նաև ՆԱՏՕ-ում քննարկված նախաձեռնությանը անդամ երկրների կողմից պաշտպանական ծախսերի մակարդակը ՀՆԱ-ի 5%-ի հնարավոր բարձրացման վերաբերյալ, որը քննարկվել է հունիսի 5-ին։
Օրպոն մատնանշել է, որ կայուն պաշտպանության ֆինանսավորումը հնարավոր է միայն արագացված տնտեսական աճի և զբաղվածության ավելացման դեպքում: Այնուամենայնիվ, նա խոստովանել է, որ բնակչության ծերացման և սոցիալական ծախսերի աճի ֆոնին հեշտ չի լինի իրականացնել այդ խնդիրները։
«Սա մարտահրավեր է ոչ միայն ներկայիս կառավարության համար: Բյուջեի ժամանակացույցը նախատեսված է մինչև 2032 թվականը, ինչը նշանակում է, որ որոշումներ պետք է կայացնեն նաև ապագա կառավարությունները», - հավելել է վարչապետը:
Միաժամանակ նա դեմ է արտահայտվել պաշտպանական նպատակներով հարկերի բարձրացմանը կամ բյուջեի այլ հոդվածների կրճատմանը։
