ՄԱԿ-ի Բնակչության հիմնադրամը հրապարակել է «Աշխարհի բնակչությունը 2025» զեկույցը, որն այս տարի նվիրված է ծնելիության գլոբալ ճգնաժամին: Զեկույցում ընդգծվում է, որ ողջ աշխարհում ծնելիության մակարդակը նվազում է։ Հետազոտությունն իրականացվել է աշխարհի 14 երկրում, որտեղ հանրագումարում բնակվում է աշխարհի բնակչության մոտ 37 տոկոսը։
Հարցված երկրներից յուրաքանչյուրում տղամարդկանց և կանանց զգալի մասը չի ունենում այնքան երեխա, որքան ցանկանում է․ հարցվածների մեծամասնությունը կուզենար ունենալ երկու և ավել երեխա։
Զեկույցում հավելյալ տվյալներ կան նաև Հայաստանի վերաբերյալ: Անպտղության ցուցանիշը Հայաստանում 18.2% է, որից առաջնային՝ 2.7%, երկրորդային (կանխարգելելի) 15.5% (ՄԱԲՀ)։
Ըստ ՀՀ վիճակագրական կոմիտեիից ստացված տվյալների՝ առաջին ամուսնության միջին տարիքը բարձրացել է թե՛ տղամարդկանց, թե՛ կանանց շրջանում։
2018-2023 թվականներին Հայաստանում որոշակիորեն աճել է մեկ կնոջ հաշվով ծնվող երեխաների միջին թվաքանակը` ծնելիության գործակիցը՝ հասնելով 1.9–ի: Սակայն Հայաստանի տնային տնտեսությունների 60%–ից ավելին երեխա չունի։ Մոտ 16%-ն ունի երկու երեխա, մոտ 15%-ը՝ մեկ երեխա։ Երեք և ավել երեխա ունի մոտ 7%–ը (ՀՀ ՎԿ)։
Ընդգծվում է, որ Հայաստանում զույգերն ամենաշատը ցանկանում են ունենալ երեք երեխա։ Երեխաների ցանկալի թվի վերաբերյալ հիմնավորումներում ամենահաճախը հանդիպել են հետևյալ պատասխանները.
- Շատ երեխաների առկայությունը ապահովում է ընտանիքի կայունությունը (27.3%)
- Հնարավորություն է տալիս առավել արդյունավետ կազմակերպել երեխայի դաստիարակության գործընթացը (15.7%)
- Որովհետև այդպես է ընդունված հայկական միջավայրում (12.0%)
- Դա ժամանակի թելադրանքն է (9.7%)
- Որովհետև այդպես է ընդունված իմ ծնողների ընտանիքում և ցանկանում եմ շարունակել այս ավանդույթը (6.0%) (ՄԱԲՀ):
