Պատրաստ ենք կառուցողական լինել տարածաշրջանում կայունության համար․ Խաչատուրյանը՝ ԵԽ քարտուղարին

Հանրապետության նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանն ընդունել է պաշտոնական այցով Հայաստանում գտնվող Եվրոպայի խորհրդի գլխավոր քարտուղար Ալեն Բերսեին։
Ողջունելով հյուրին՝ նախագահ Խաչատուրյանը գոհունակություն է հայտնել Եվրոպայի խորհրդի հետ Հայաստանի բարձր մակարդակի, կանոնավոր երկխոսության և փոխայցերի կապակցությամբ, որոնք ընթացիկ տարվա ընթացքում նշանավորվել են հագեցած օրակարգով։
«Ուրախ եմ ողջունել Ձեզ։ Շատ կարևորում եմ Ձեր այցը Հայաստան։ Հատկանշական է, որ եվրոպական առաջին կառույցը, որի հետ անկախացումից հետո սկսել ենք աշխատել, եղել է Եվրոպայի խորհուրդը, և ես հիշում եմ՝ 1990-ականներին կատարված այդ աշխատանքն ինչ ոգևորություն և պատասխանատվության զգացում էր առաջացրել մեզ մոտ։
Դա հետագայում շարունակվեց, երբ դարձանք Եվրոպայի խորհրդի խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի լիակատար անդամ։ Ըստ այդմ՝ մենք ստանձնեցինք պարտավորություններ, որոնք կատարել ենք և շարունակում ենք կատարել։
Այս համատեքստում ցանկանում եմ շնորհակալություն հայտնել հետևողականության, ինչպես նաև աջակցության համար։ Խոսքը վերաբերում է հատկապես ժողովրդավարական արժեքների արմատավորմանը»,- իր ողջույնի խոսքում մասնավորապես նշել է Վահագն Խաչատուրյանը։
Ալեն Բերսեն շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ջերմ ընդունելության համար։ «Ես իսկապես շատ ուրախ եմ այցելել Հայաստան։ Այս այցն ընդգծում է այն աջակցությունը, որը մենք մշտապես ցուցաբերել ենք Հայաստանի նկատմամբ։ Մենք իսկապես խորապես տպավորված ենք այն զարգացումներով, որոնք երկիրն ունեցել է վերջին 30 տարիների ընթացքում»,- նշել է նա։
Հանդիպման ընթացքում կողմերը քննարկել են ժողովրդավարության ինստիտուտների կայացման գործընթացում Հայաստանի և Եվրոպայի խորհրդի սերտ համագործակցությունը։ Այս համատեքստում ընդգծվել է ժողովրդավարական արժեքների պաշտպանության, իրավունքի գերակայության, ինչպես նաև մարդու և քաղաքացու հիմնարար իրավունքների և ազատությունների պահպանման ուղղությամբ ՀՀ իշխանությունների կողմից ձեռնարկվող համապարփակ բարեփոխումների կարևորությունը։
Անդրադառնալով տարածաշրջանային անվտանգային իրադրությանը՝ նախագահ Խաչատուրյանը ներկայացրել է Հայաստանի դիրքորոշումը՝ վերահաստատելով երկրի հաստատակամությունը՝ հասնելու կայուն և հարատև խաղաղության։
Նախագահը նշել է, որ Հայաստանը լիովին հանձնառու է իր միջազգային պարտավորություններին և պատրաստ է կառուցողական փոխգործակցության՝ ուղղված տարածաշրջանում կայունության ու անվտանգության ամրապնդմանը։
Ալեն Բերսեն իր հերթին ընդգծել է Եվրոպայի խորհրդի պատրաստակամությունը՝ շարունակելու աջակցել Հայաստանին ժողովրդավարական կառույցների ամրապնդման, արդարադատության համակարգի զարգացման և մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության ոլորտներում։ Նա կարևորել է կայուն և ներառական բարեփոխումների իրականացումը՝ որպես ժողովրդավարական հասարակության հիմք և նշել, որ Եվրոպայի խորհուրդը շարունակելու է լինել վստահելի գործընկեր այդ գործընթացում։
