ԱՄՆ-ն քննարկում է ևս 36 երկրների քաղաքացիների մուտքը սահմանափակելու հարցը, ըստ Պետդեպարտամենտի փաստաթղթի, որին ծանոթացել է The Washington Post-ը։

Այն երկրների նոր ցանկը, որոնք կարող են բախվել վիզայի արգելքի կամ այլ սահմանափակումների, ներառում է 25 աֆրիկյան պետություն։

Պետքարտուղար Մարկո Ռուբիոյի կողմից ստորագրված և այդ երկրների հետ աշխատող ԱՄՆ դիվանագետներին շաբաթ օրը ուղարկված փաստաթուղթն այդ երկրների կառավարություններին տալիս է 60 օր՝ Պետդեպարտամենտի կողմից սահմանված նոր չափանիշներին և պահանջներին համապատասխանելու համար։

Այն վերջնաժամկետ է սահմանել է չորեքշաբթի օրվա ժամը 8-ը՝ պահանջները բավարարելու համար գործողությունների նախնական ծրագիր ներկայացնելու համար։

Փաստաթղթում նշված են տարբեր չափանիշներ, որոնք, վարչակազմի կարծիքով, երկրները չեն բավարարում։

Օրինակ, որոշ երկրներ «չունեն իրավասու կենտրոնական կառավարության մարմիններ, որոնք կարող են տրամադրել հուսալի նույնականացման կամ այլ քաղաքացիական փաստաթղթեր» կամ տառապում են «լայնածավալ կառավարական խարդախությունից»։

Փաստաթղթով ընդգրկված երկրներ՝ Անգոլա, Անտիգուա և Բարբուդա, Բենին, Բութան, Բուրկինա Ֆասո, Կաբո Վերդե, Կամբոջա, Կամերուն, Կոնգոյի Դեմոկրատական ​​Հանրապետություն, Ջիբութի, Դոմինիկա, Եթովպիա, Եգիպտոս, Գաբոն, Գամբիա, Գանա, Կոտ դ'Իվուար, Ղրղզստան, Լիբերիա, Մալավի, Մավրիտանիա, Նիգեր, Նիգերիա, Սենթ Քիթս և Նևիս, Սենթ Լյուսիա, Սան Տոմե և Պրինսիպի, Սենեգալ, Հարավային Սուդան, Սիրիա, Տանզանիա, Տոնգա, Տուվալու, Ուգանդա, Վանուատու, Զամբիա, Զիմբաբվե։

Ցանկը նշանակալի լրացում է հունիսի 4-ին հրապարակված գործադիր հրամանը, երբ Միացյալ Նահանգները ամբողջությամբ սահմանափակեց մուտքն Աֆղանստանից, Մյանմայից, Չադից, Կոնգոյի Հանրապետությունից, Հասարակածային Գվինեայից, Էրիթրեայից, Հայիթիից, Իրանից, Լիբիայից, Սոմալիից, Սուդանից և Եմենից ժամանող ճանապարհորդների համար։

Այդ հրամանագրի համաձայն՝ Միացյալ Նահանգները նաև մասամբ սահմանափակեց մուտքը Բուրունդիից, Կուբայից, Լաոսից, Սիեռա Լեոնեից, Տոգոյից, Թուրքմենստանից և Վենեսուելայից ժամանող ճանապարհորդների համար։
