Երեկ ես ու գործընկերս` Ատոմ Մխիթարյանը, Բելգիայի խորհրդարանում էինք` որպես «ՀայաՔվե» քաղաքացիական միավորման ներկայացուցիչ, հանդիպեցինք Բելգիայի խորհրդարանի անդամ, «Ֆլամանդական շահ» խմբակցության ներկայացուցիչ Էլեն Սամինի հետ, ով առանձնահատուկ ու ջերմ վերաբերմունք ունի Հայաստանի, Արցախի ու հայկական շահերի նկատմամբ և ցուցաբերում է հետևողական հետաքրքրություն` բարձրաձայնելով հատկապես Ադրբեջանի կողմից Արցախի ու արցախահայերի նկատմամբ իրականացրած էթնիկ զտման քայլերը։
 
Քննարկեցինք Արցախի նկատմամբ Ադրբեջանի սանձազերծած ագրեսիայի, քրիստոնյա հայրեի հալածանքների, Բաքվում անօրինական դատվող` Արցախի ռազմաքաղաքական ղեկավարների և մյուս գերեվարված հայերի, ինչպես նաև մշակութային ժառանգության պաշտպանության հետ կապված հարցեր։ Կարճ, բայց շատ արդյունավետ հանդիպման ընթացքում կարևորեցինք Սամինի կողմից Արցախում 2023 թվականի շրջափակման ընթացքում իրականացված բարեգործական միջոցառումը` որպես հայերի հետ համերաշխության և աջակցության օրինակ։ Մեր երախտագիտությունը հայտնեցինք նրա համարձակ և սկզբունքային քայլերի համար։
 
Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկեցինք հնարավոր համագործակցության մի քանի հիմնական ուղղություններ, մասնավորապես․
- ակտիվացնել Բելգիայի խորհրդարանի ներգրավվածությունը Հարավային Կովկասում՝ որպես մարդասիրական մոնիթորինգի խթանող ձայն,
- քննարկեցինք համագործակցության հեռանկարները մշակութային ժառանգության պահպանման, իրական խաղաղության կառուցման և կրոնական վայրերի միջազգային պաշտպանության ոլորտներում,
- առաջարկեցինք կազմակերպել և համատեղ իրականացնել միջոցառումներ՝ Բելգիայում՝ հայկական կազմակերպությունների և ֆլամանդական խմբերի միջև, որոնք միտված կլինեն մշակութային արժեքների պահպանությանը և համընդհանուր համերաշխությանը։
 
Սամինի հետ պայմանավորվեցինք նաև շարունակել մեր շփումներն ու համագործակցությունը, պարբերաբար փոխանակել տեղեկություններ Հայաստանի շուրջ անվտանգային զարգացումների, ներառյալ Սյունիքի՝ այսպես կոչված «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի» հարցի, նաև Ադրբեջանի կողմից Հայաստանի նկատմամբ հնարավոր հարձակման ռիսկերի վերաբերյալ։ Նա պատրաստակամություն հայտնեց ավելի մեծ ուշադրությամբ հետևելու տարածաշրջանային իրավիճակին և նպաստելու Հայաստանի ինքնիշխանության ու խաղաղության ապահովման վերաբերյալ Բելգիայի խորհրդարանական և միջազգային հարթակներում բարձրաձայնմանը:
