Վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը Ստամբուլում հանդիպում է ունեցել տեղի հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչների հետ։
Վարչապետն իր խոսքում կարևորել է Թուրքիա կատարած աշխատանքային այցը՝ ընդգծելով, որ այն իրականություն է դարձել վերջին շրջանում Թուրքիայի հետ ակտիվացած երկխոսության արդյունքում։ Նա նշել է Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի հետ նախատեսված հանդիպման կարևորությունը՝ հույս հայտնելով, որ այն նոր ազդակ կհաղորդի երկկողմ հարաբերություններին։
Երկրի ղեկավարի խոսքով՝ այցի հիմքում ընկած են Հայաստան-Թուրքիա միջպետական հարաբերությունները, իսկ ընթացող գործընթացը հարաբերություններ հաստատելու օրակարգ է, որը բխում է երկու երկրների շահերից։ Միաժամանակ, վարչապետ Փաշինյանը շեշտել է Թուրքիայի հայ համայնքի դերը՝ միջպետական հարաբերությունների հաստատման և երկխոսության խորացման գործընթացում։
