Ուրֆայում երբեմնի հայկական որբանոցը կվերածվի առևտրի կենտրոնի

Հայոց ցեղասպանությունից հետո որբացած հայ երեխաների համար որպես որբանոց ծառայած կառույցն Ուրֆայում վերածվելու է առևտրի կենտրոնի:
Այս մասին տեղեկացնում է թուրքական Demokrathaber.net-ը` ընդգծելով, որ եթե 1950-ական թվականներին Ուրֆայի բնակչության մեծ մասը ոչ մուսուլմաններ էին, ապա այժմ քաղաքում նրանց հետքերը գրեթե ամբողջությամբ վերացված են:
Որբանոցի տարածքը հայտնի է նաև որպես ճամբար, որտեղ Ցեղասպանության ժամանակ հավաքել են տարագրված հայերին:
Դեռևս 2006 թվականին գյուլենական շարժման հիմնադիր Ֆեթուլլահ Գյուլենի հետ մոտ հարաբերություններով հայտնի Atlas Holding և DNR կազմակերպությունները որբանոցի տարածքում 5-աստղանի հյուրանոց հիմնելու համար դիմել էին մշակույթի նախարարությանը: Դիմումը բավարարվել էր միայն 2010 թվականին: Նախատեսվում էր, որ նախագիծն ավարտին կհասցվի 2014 թվականին, սակայն Գյուլենի և իշխող «Արդարություն և զարգացում» կուսակցության միջև հակամարտության պատճառով այն չեղյալ համարվեց: Հետագայում տարածքը տրվել էր Զբոսաշրջային ներդրումների կազմակերպությանը: Ներկայում նախատեսվում է որբանոցի տարածքում կառուցել առևտրի կենտրոն:
