Ընդունված է համարել, որ իսկական տղամարդը ոչ մի բանից չի վախենում, ուժեղ է ու վստահություն է ներշնչում, բայց սա միայն արտաքին կողմն է, իսկ իրականում անգամ իդեալական տղամարդը հմտորեն թաքցնում է իր բազմաթիվ վախերը: LN-ը՝ ուժեղ սեռի վախերի մասին:

Սխալ: Ցանկացած տղամարդ վախենում է ինչ-որ բան «այնպես չանելուց»: Սխալվելու հանդեպ տածած վախը վերաբերում թե' աշխատանքին, թե' ընկերական, թե' սիրային հարաբերություններին: Կախված նրանից, թե որքան անսխալ են տղամարդու գործերը, նա կունենա լավ կամ վատ տրամադրություն, բարձր կամ ցածր ինքնագնահատական: 

Քննադատներ:Տղամարդիկ շատ են կախված շրջապատի կարծիքից: Անգամ անծանոթ մեկի կողմից ասված բացասական խոսքը տղամարդկանց մեջ երկար ժամանակով կարող է խոցել վստահությունը սեփական ուժերի հանդեպ: 

Սիրելին ու շրջապատը: Բոլոր տղամարդիկ ճակատագրական կնոջը գտնելուց հետո տառապում են մի վախով' իսկ ինչ կլինի, եթե վերջինս դուր չգա իր ընտանիքին կամ ընկերներին:

Փոփոխություն: Ուժեղ սեռի շատ ներկայացուցիչներ վախենում են իրենց կյանքում ինչ-որ բան փոխել անգամ, եթե վստահ են, որ դա կլինի դրական փոփոխություն:

 Կախվածություն կնոջից: Գրեթե բոլոր տղամարդկանց սարսափեցնում է այն միտքը, թե որևէ կին կարող է իշխել իրենց կամքին: Այդ իսկ պատճառով նրանք հաճախ չափից ավել են ընդգծում իրենց լիդերությունը հարաբերություններում: 

Վարկանիշ ու գումար: Խուճապ ու հուսալքություն' սրանք այն վիճակներն են, որոնցում հայտնվում են տղամարդիկ, երբ զգում են, որ վտանգված է իրենց վարկանիշը կամ ունեցվածքը: 

Ամուսնություն: Ամուսնությունը միայն կանանց համար չէ սթրես: Հարաբերությունների այս կետից տղամարդիկ վախենում են, ինչպես սատանան սուրբ ջրից: Դավաճանություն, բաժանություն, չկայացվածություն, երեխաներ, կենցաղ… Այս ամենի մասին մտքերը երբեմն իրոք սարսափելի են տղամարդկանց համար: 

Իմպոտենցիա: Վախը, որ «գլխավոր արժանիքը» կդավաճանի ամենապատասխանատու պահին, ցանկացած տղամարդու վատ երազների շարքից է: 

Դավաճանություն:Անգամ միտքն այն մասին, թե սիրելի կինը երբևէ կարող է լինել ուրիշի գրկում, տղամարդուն կարող է ագրեսիվ ու չար դարձնել: 

Արցունքներ: Կնոջ արցունքները անկեղծորեն վախեցնում են շատ տղամարդկանց, իսկ ոմանք էլ պատրաստ են անել հնարավորն ու անհնարը, միայն թե սիրելին երբեք չարտասվի:
