Փաշինյանի ձեռնարկած հարձակումները Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցու դեմ ոչ թե "բարեփոխումներ" են, այլ սրբապղծություն։ Սա արդեն քաղաքական պայքար չէ՝ սա պատերազմ է ազգային ինքնության դեմ։
Եկեղեցին՝ դա մեր պատմական հիշողությունն է, մեր լեզուն, մեր հավատը, մեր գոյության սրբագույն հիմքը։
Երբ իշխանությունը ձեռքը է բարձրացնում Եկեղեցու վրա, նա հրաժարվում է հայկականությունից։ Իսկ դա դավաճանություն է։
